2 /5 J K: When I walked in, right away I felt judged by the lady working there. The way she looked at me, her tone, the way she asked if she could help me was in a way like I was lost and shouldn’t be in there. Very stuck up. She pointed out the sale section like that’s where I should be looking. I also felt like she was keeping a close eye on me in a way like I would steal. I wasn’t looking at the prices when I found a little jacket I liked on sale. I looked at the price and hand written I thought it said 20 something. I found another shirt I liked but it was $80 and when I was checking out I was making small talk about that shirt and she made the most snotty comment about it being that way with higher end clothes. Then she told me the total for the jacket and I clearly did not see the barely legible 1 in front of the price. So I decided I didn’t like it enough for that price, and I’m sure deep down inside that lady got some sort of satisfaction out of it, like she judged me correctly. I would like her to know I’m frugal not broke. So the next time someone walks into your store with a bunch of tattoos, don’t judge them like they don’t belong in that store. You know nothing about me or my life and every person, no matter what they look like, should feel comfortable coming into places like this. This almost ruined my day but there are way too many other shops that I had an amazing experience in.
