Cavenders Boot City - Midland (TX)

5 /5 J Loff: Left boot barn having a terrible experience, to this wonderful place. The young woman who assisted me with my boot purchase was wonderful and had me laughing in minutes. Then the cashier was wry kind and made the shopping experience (I hate shopping) 5star. Keep it up Cavenders.

1 /5 Miguel Urbina: This has got to be the most abismal shopping experience i have ever had. The workers there (if you can even call them that) were extremely unhelpful, not one single time did anyone approach us to offer service, you can tell from what little interaction we did have that they did NOT wanna be there, just a bunch of lifeless NPCs. The icing on the cake was when i tried checking out, i told NPC #1 that i am ready, to which she proceeds to stare at me as if i had genitals in my face. She then half heartedly tells NPC #2 to attend me to which NPC #2 decides that it was all in her head and continues doing whatever it is that she was doing previously. I stood there for a couple of minutes waiting and not a single time was i given a "well be right with you sir", i wasnt even acknowledged. I deciced the pants werent worth my dignity and walked out. You can not make this stuff up, would not shop there again, and if you value good service, i wouldnt recommend you to shop there neither.

1 /5 Chris: I thought this store was great until I went and bought my wife a new purse and some perfume that she likes. When I got home my wife had told me the price was changed. I looked at the tags and you could see that one of the tags had a Sharpie marker over the price so I kinda erased the marks with an Expo and yup it was changed. The difference isnt a lot at all but this is kinda shady for a respected store like this.

1 /5 Kaitlyn Ramirez: So unprofessional!!! Natasha and a young lady at the register were very unprofessional, instead of helping another young girl who clearly seemed to be new they decided to call her out in front of MULTIPLE customers and threaten her to a “wright up”. I’ve worked in retail before and it’s not a walk in the park but to threaten to write someone up in front of customers it NOT ok, that is a conversation you have in private with the employee, and even at that for her not knowing protocol on boots sales that just shows a lack of training from store management. Not only do I have that problem with my experience today but instead of proceeding to check out customer when there was definitely a line of customers the two “knowledgeable employees” decided to go to a corner and talk when clearly the young girl was struggling on her own. Not only that I don’t remember having to carry my items out of the store without a bag! All I have to say to Natasha and the girl who clearly seemed more eager to go home than do their job is you can’t preach what you don’t even practice!

1 /5 Kimberly: Went in with the intentions to purchase at the very least a new belt for myself and possibly some jeans for my husband. Store was clean not many customers and had a decent amount of employees whom appeared to be restocking and running the register. I was not greeted by any employees upon entering. I looked at the belts first. They did not have a small on the floor in the color I wanted. I decided to look at the beside the belts. Found a couple of necklaces then went to find someone to check in back for a size small belt. Walked past some employees who were discussing how they liked everything about a certain shirt just not the bow that was on it. So made my way to the kids section looking at what they had and hoping to get some help. One woman stopped and asked if she could help me and I said yes actually I’m looking for this belt in a small. Her response was “in this section”. I said well, I had searched over where the belts were in the women’s section and decided to come over here and take a look as well. She assured me everything she had was on the floor and walked away. I can be a bit picky so I decided to go with a darker brown belt, but I would need new boots. Made my way to the boots found two pairs could not decide between the two never received any help so could not even try them on to confirm which pair I like best. At that point I was upset called my husband and he said to leave but first would I mind taking a look to see if they had a shirt in a color he didn’t already have and his favorite style Ariat jeans in a smaller size. Found a nice almost burnt orange shirt while FaceTiming my husband went to look for his jeans. Never being asked as if I needed any help. My husband was shocked said to forget the shirt and anything else just leave. On average I can’t get out of Cavender’s for anything less than $500 dressing our family of 6 but today and the lack of customer service definitely changed that!
