Cato Fashions - Tyler (TX)

5 /5 Patricia W.-Phase2: Oh, how I wish they had a Catos clothing store anywhere near Chicagoland! This store is like a boutique however their prices are more along the lines of clothing found at a Ross store or even a Target. I found the store in Tyler, Texas which is located about two hours East of Dallas. They have well over a hundred stores throughout the United States, just none in Chicagoland, yet... Love their Styles as well as the fact that they offered both sizes small through extra large on one half of the store and sizes 14/16 to size 26 On the other side of the store. And in many cases they had the same clothing on both sides. They also had an outstanding selection of jewelry, accessories like scarves, gloves, hats and even shoes and boots.

1 /5 Patricia: I was going to purchase a dress and a pair of earrings, the earrings were marked down and they rang up $3 more than what was on the ticket, so I asked the cashier about the price and she told me that they were marked wrong, so I asked her who would do that and she told me that one of the employees did, so I explained to her that if the employee marked the item at that price then she should honor it! She told me that she could give me a percentage off but that was all! I asked who the manager was and she said that she was the manager, so I decided not to make the purchase of any of the items that I was going to buy! To make a long story short, she decided that she would rather lose a customer over $3!!! I have worked in retail for many years and I know that she was wrong!! She works for a company, and I am sure that the company would rather gain a customer over $3 that mind you it was the employee’s fault!! So after that experience, I will choose to spend my money somewhere else!!

5 /5 Maggie Adams: I always get the best customer service in this store. "Let me get you a dressing room - and Ill put your things in there for you." Honey, that doesnt happen in too many stores any more. I try to go during the day when most people are working - Tuesday - Friday - 11:00 - 3:00. They have jeans that fit me perfectly and always cute stylish tops. I love that I can shop when I have time and put it on layaway. Better service than mall stores and better prices. Sorry - I will be moving to Dallas...gonna miss this Cato location. I also enjoy shopping at Catos in Jacksonville.

5 /5 Jennifer Richter: I love all of the Cato stores in Tyler and the one in Lindale! Especially the store off of 64 and the Loop. All of the ladies in there are so sweet and helpful. Always eager to please and greet everyone with a smile. 5 star!!
