1 /5 Charisse Behymer: Very disappointed with my experience at Alene’s Boutique. I was told I had one week to return items with tags and a receipt. We returned within that timeframe because the items didn’t fit. However, an associate mistakenly processed one return as an exchange, and we were later told their system would not allow a return or store credit because of it.
We made multiple trips back to the store. The third trip ended up being outside the original return window only because we were repeatedly told to come back when the manager was there. When she was finally contacted, she initially refused the return despite the item being unworn with original tags and the issue being caused by staff error.
After pushing back, I was given store credit, but not without a rude comment implying we should have used the fitting room.
This situation could have been avoided with clear policies, proper staff training, and better customer service. What should have been a simple return turned into an unnecessary hassle.
