1 /5 TaNece Carr: When I first got there, the person who is doing my nails was an older man and he was wrapped up in sports betting I believe he kept checking his phone in watching the WNBA. I probably should’ve said something right at that point but I did not. I’m like I’m just going to pay attention and you know he’s a professional he should be fine. I told him how I wanted my nails I told him that I wanted them a little thicker because my nails tend to break a lot and I told them that I wanted them narrow according to the picture you can see that I have all different shapes. The man did not ask me what shape now I want to. He just started working on my nails. It does not look good. I tried my best to kind of update him as we were going along, but after he’s already has acrylic going, I really didn’t know what to say in order for him to fix it. But towards the end, I was finally frustrated when I was asking him to fix one nail and I just ask for someone else to do it respectfully, and they told me basically that it was trouble since it had already been been done, and I should’ve said something in the beginning. Which I did. The man was not paying attention. He was paying attention to sports. No one said sorry about anything. And then I did not get gel polish, so the green polish that I originally got. It was so see-through that it really didn’t look right so I got them to take it off and then the white polish that they put on there also didn’t look right and you can see that you can still see the green underneath the white. The one who did my pedicure did a good job, but the issue was also with the polish. I chose a lime green OPI and they were saying that it was too late and kept recommending gel polish which I did not want to pay extra for that. Their normal polishes seem to be diluted . Then they proceeded to tell me if I didn’t want the lime green color if they needed to put white underneath then I will be charged extra for that. Personally, if I had a business that I Really enjoyed my work. I would not let a client leave the way that I left today and I was not rude. I did not fuss I did not holler. I did not do any of that. Unfortunately it seems like that’s what they want you to do in order to get anything done correctly. If that makes sense I’m just really upset and will not be returning to this nail shop, nor would I recommend them to anyone to.
