5 /5 Sydney Taylor: I came here with high hopes based on the reviews i read. overall the customer service was very good and the nail technician i had was very funny and personable. The two glitter nails did not turn out the way I asked for them to be but i did not complain because my nail tech did a very good job otherwise. despite not getting exactly what i asked for When i left i was optimistic that i had finally found a good and reliable nail salon in lubbock. however less than two days later, 3 of my nails have already popped off. I was not unusually rough on my nails. i’ve been getting dip power nails for years and typically they can last me 2-4 weeks if i’m careful enough with them. it’s just super disappointing because I liked my nails enough to go back and give them another try but it’s ridiculous that less than a week after i go almost half my nails have managed to just pop right off :(

UPDATE: the salon called me within an hour of me posting this review and asked when i could come in the get it fixed. they were really sweet and made sure i was happy every step of the way. i am so much happier with my set this time. clearly this business really cares about maintaining good relationships with customers and making sure they also give customers what they want. overall very happy with my experience at viva and I will definitely be back again! both of my nail techs were very sweet
