5 /5 Traveling Nana: Nice place. This was our turnaround place. It is a nice station. There is a nice gift store and place to buy food. The setting was lovely. There are plenty of picnic tables and a great lake.

5 /5 Debbi Snax: Rode the train from Palestine to the Rusk Station, had a grand time walking down by the water and taking pictures in the lil covered bridge. Absolutely love the rail line as part of the sign at the entrance.

5 /5 Catherine Mcconnell: We loved our ride from Palestine to Rusk! Joyce is a wonderful tour guide who obviously loves her job. She’s a gem! She mentioned the train robbery experience- I sincerely hope yall will bring that back! I’d also love to see a murder mystery ride. I think that would be insanely fun. Regardless, we will be riding again!

4 /5 Jesse West: Decent easy afternoon. No real scenery just some trees real close while on train. Did the Rusk turntable run, the turntable was flooded out so that was a bust, but they offered discounts or return. Than on way back engine broke, another brought us back quickly. The staff onboard was fantastic with my kids points to Joyce! I stayed in the RV park, it was extremely empty and quiet, there was us and 1 other among 30+ spots. Everything was clean and kept up, but dated, showers had hot water, but the tall pines and quiet sure was worth it. Good RV park to stay a few days if your looking in area

5 /5 Jay Honeck: We are staying in the campground for four days, and have been 110% satisfied. Its a beautiful, lush campground, with a spring-fed creek and a nice lake. 90 tall pine trees give it a majestic, almost cathedral-like feeling. Perfect for riding their excursion train, which we did yesterday.
