1 /5 JJ Winterhalter: Wife had 11 am appointment, did not get taken back till 12:00. Talked to front desk multiple times, was lied too and told our appointment time was later than actual. Staff did not input new patient data till we were called back. Wife arrived an hour early to do paperwork. Staff is dismissive and borderline rude

5 /5 george berry: When you walk in the door, youll get to meet Eddie, who is the greater and takes care of everything at this place. He is absolutely a joy and sets the tone for everything that you will do there. After you meet the receptionist, she will remember you and take care of you to perfection. As you head back, you get to meet the nurses and they are full of encouragement and helpful information. Now were to the techs these people are so professional and concerned about everything they can do to make your experience better. It just amazes. They also have a great sense of humor and try to make your experience as wonderful as a possibly can. Now, doctor Scott Lawson he is knowledgeable and very concerned about your questions and your treatment. Every time I met with him I knew I was going to be okay. He has a way to make you feel like what youre going through is something he deals with every day and you dont need to worry.

2 /5 Vanessa Uranga: slow and literally forgot about me, had me waiting in a room for 30-40 min and no dr came. no one would’ve even showed up, it was about to be 5pm. they CLOSE at 5. would not recommend. only giving two starts because lady that checked me out and rescheduled my appointment (which i am now thinking of cancelling permanently) was very nice.

Brandy Timmons: Ive only had two visits, but I like Dr. Kowalik. Shes not the best Dr Ive been to for bedside manner, but shes competent and takes time to answer my questions. The nurse I saw was fantastic. Her receptionist on the other hand, I dislike immensely. She is very rude. Whenever I call with questions, she cuts me off and acts like my questions are inconvenient or like the answer is just so simple that I should know it. This is an exciting time in our lives, we should be treated with respect and encouragement and not made to feel like we cant ask questions.

He preformed his test and assured me that everything was good. His precautionary measure and from his speciality concern was not at the same level of my PCP. I liked that he did not discount my PCP and acknowledged her professional concern. He listened answered questions and and explained the what ifs and made sure I understood. He scheduled a follow up in a year, but told me to make an appointment if I notice a change. We had time to laugh. I was comfortable with him .

CHRISTUS Urgent Care - San Marcos

Moczek Abigail (Abi): Denied care due to receptionists not checking insurance properly, we even called our insurance right in front of them. Had to go home, re-call insurance (who said the clinic was supposed to call them), and be seen virtually (which costs 30$ out of pocket compared to 100$-160$ to be seen without insurance at this location). Ends up, our insurance IS active despite their claims and THEY should have called to verify this instead of telling us we had no coverage.
