3 /5 Jill Nabors: While the services provided by the care team at Quality were good there were a couple points that I felts others should be aware of. The center charged an additional $235 to "collect blood and lab work", but these samples were sent off to Quest and not evaluated in house, which is all fine and good except you will then receive a bill from Quest. After I received the EOB from our insurance for my sons services it was noted that we should only have been charged $25. I called the billing office associated with Quality and they said that they do see that they over charged, but that they will hold over payments for 3 months and that I would be required to call back at that time to request a refund for the over payment and that they will not automatically send any overage paid to them. If you use this center watch your EOBs closely and be prompt in contacting them for refunds or they will sit on the money. This is an urgent care center close to a university and takes advantage of the students that are more than likely for the first time navigating the medical offices and their deceptive billing practices.
