5 /5 Jan Childs: Dr. Eckerts bedside manner, compassion, and attention to detail is very rare. Almost obsolete in 2024. Although her schedule is typically booked months out, Dr. Eckerts team will do their best to fit you in for urgent , non emergency medical issues. The facility is convenient as I live nearby, but I would follow Dr. Eckerts care even if she moved outside of the Christus Health care umbrella.

They had never called my name and apparently the doctor had already gone home. It had taken a month to get the appointment. I would never recommend this doctor or this office. I would not give them one star.

Marci Adams: What should have been a 2-3 day hospital stay ended up taking my dad’s life! Dr. William Elfarr damaged my dad’s pancreas as well as his diaphragm while doing a nephrectomy. After spending 2 weeks in ICU at UT Athens which I would not take my dog to after the experience we had he ended up being transferred to UT Tyler where he ended up passing away from multiple complications due to Dr. Elfarr! I can’t stress enough do not send your loved ones to this doctor!!!!

Amanda Testa: I will highly recommend Dr. Pugh and his office to anyone in need of a surgeon. What multiple doctors could not figure out or listen to regarding my daughters symptoms, Dr. Pugh did. We were able to get in the same day I called with my concerns, had her scan later that week and surgery the following week. Everyone was so nice from Gina at the front desk, to his nurse Melissa, as well as my short encounter with Jenny the day before my daughters surgery. I have worked in healthcare for a long time, and you can tell this team genuinely cares for their patients.
