04-2025 Dr. Stephanie M. West, MD in Best 12 MEDICAL SERVICES near Athens, TX (Part 3)Andrews Center - Athens explosionexplosion: Don’t bother. Spent an hour of my life (that I cannot get back!!) on the registration/evaluation process. Just moved to the area and needed medication management/adjustment and therapy. First of all, a walk-in evaluation process just seems silly. Filled out paperwork and then was asked questions during the registration process that were already answered and said paperwork. Was then evaluated via video call for all of two minutes. I was basically told during the evaluation that my problems are not severe enough and that I should wait for an appointment with the GP I’m establishing with in 1.5 months. Was also told that I should just get my prescription vitamin over-the-counter at Walmart. Shocker, they don’t have it. Absolutely worthless.
Mark L. Eldore, MD - Athens Kodi Carter: ⚠️WORST DR. IVE EVER ENCOUNTERED! ⚠️
I cannot begin to tell you where he went wrong! This person treated me less than human while I was pregnant with my first child in 2009. I cannot believe he still has a license to practice!!!
His bedside manner is horrific at best. He always chastised me for anything I did. When I had questions or concerns about my own body, he brushed them off.
Or when I ended up in an ER over the weekend for severe vomiting for x2 days & inability to eat/ hold fluids, he LITERALLY chastised me for going to the ER and "wasting their time". I had gravidarum hyperemesis, and HE never diagnosed that.
I had to leave that doctors office completely to get away from him!
He is a monster and shouldnt be allowed to practice medicine, ESPECIALLY OBGYN!!!
There are several others who had similar experiences.
I only leave 1 star because I HAVE NO CHOICE or else its would be 0!!!!
Hidalgo Family Clinic - Hidalgo Za Eliz: The doctor is nice. The front staff is rude, they also told me my blood work would not have additional cost but I got billed in the mail from the lab work company. So the front staff needs more training on how billing works and to be transparent to the patient about it, as well as customer service skills. Be friendly to patients.
South Texas Health System McAllen - McAllen Timothy Mickunas: Pretty good service this time. I was told to arrive by 4:45 a.m. for a 5 a.m. appointment. I sat in the waiting room until 5:30 a.m. then went upstairs and waited some more. Once a nurse did get to me, everything was well done. Nurses communicated well, the anesthesiologist spoke with me, the doctor did the procedure and explained it after I woke up.
DHR Health Emergency Room - Sandra de la Fuente: Everyone I came in contact to at the ER was wonderful! Very patient and kind. I appreciated the level of customer service care they provided.
