St. Pius V Catholic Church - Pasadena (TX)

3 /5 DLC: The priests and the masses are wonderful! It’s a loving community that cares about its parishioners and students. The PROBLEM is the lector woman who stands at the back of the church chastising those who leave before father has finished walking down the entire aisle. She calls it respect to wait. I say respect the altar and the pulpit and save the very lengthy announcements for the bulletin or right before mass begins. Why ruin my beautiful communion with Christ because you assume I am disrespectful. You have no idea how much I respect the priests and show it through substantial donations, prayer for them and service to the church Petty actions like this is where the church starts to loose people.

3 /5 Stephen Hufford: It’s a nice church, but we were put off by the Deacon on 4-21-24. He had a lot of comedy and jokes in the mass today which was unnecessary. We are looking for a church to attend regularly and we’re hoping for this one to be a place for us to attend. We may give it another try but will probably try to find one a little more traditional.

5 /5 Varela Ivan (Iver): During my pass by Pasadena this Catholic Church came along my way and it was a pleasant and peaceful time given. But take a moment the follow information about it. Pius X is known for vigorously opposing modernist interpretations of Catholic doctrine, and for promoting liturgical reforms and scholastic theology. He initiated the preparation of the 1917 Code of Canon Law, the first comprehensive and systemic work of its kind. The Church and surrounding will give you the feeling of welcoming; and the same way the artisan lady outside the church selling her souvenirs; she will welcome you to the Area, welcoming to the Church and bless you for being there. So lovely, I will stop by definitely again. They do Spanish and English mass. Cheers

5 /5 Roberto J Navarrete: Awesome new Pastor and Vicar. Plenty of available times for Reconciliation in Spanish and English. Excellent and admirable reverence to the Holy Eucharist. Always positive and helpful priests. Currently, the very best Clergy Team in a very long time in this Parish. A very refreshing and holy experience for those lay faithful area residents. Thank you Lord Jesus !!!
