St. James the Apostle Episcopal Church - Conroe (TX)

5 /5 Randy Moravec: New to Conroe area and lifelong Episcopalian looking for a church. We were warmly welcomed by the greeters and the service was accompanied by an excellent music program with full choir even though it was an early (8:00 am) service. The rectors sermon was thoughtful and well-delivered. Following the service was a complete breakfast (great value at the $5.00 pp recommenced donation) where we had the opportunity to meet members of the congregation. Looking forward to learning more about this parish.

3 /5 Michael Hollen: Visited on Memorial day weekend. Had to interject myself into a conversation to even be welcomed. Mass was nice but a little different. Did not state which form they used and didnt give BCP page reference. Did have a nice mass service. Didnt feel welcomed or shuned.

4 /5 Gregory Grinage: I used to play St. Nicholas. I was a member for over 20 years and loved this place. Due to church politics and back- stabbing I left 2 years ago....and no one cared. I feel like they ran me off, like others were run off for having strong opinions. A cradle Episcopalian, it saddens me to see our traditions being watered down. We cant all be Anglican, but why try to please all denominations? To thine own self be true.

5 /5 Evan Gooch: So many amazing people that truly love everyone. Just like one of my other reviews, this is not our church home, but you would never know that based on how we were treated. My kids were going to an art camp VBS here, and were totally treated like family. The campus is absolutely gorgeous and the staff and volunteers are so amazing. Really felt loved here.
