2 /5 Elayni Points: They made my family and I really uncomfortable. We visited for the first time yesterday with our 3 daughters aged 9,5, and 7 months. Unfortunately right after we arrived my 7 month old had a dirty diaper that was quite extreme. I went in the mothers room to change her and realized that last time I cleaned out the diaper bag I forgot to pack extra clothes. Her outfit was soiled so I brought her back out in a diaper and was holding her on my lap. She wasnt making a peep, nor were our other kids. As Im trying to listen to the sermon a gentleman comes up to me, gets extremely close to my face which I didnt like and asks if my baby has a fever. Confused, I say no. Then he says well you know we have a mothers room where you can be as open as you want with your baby. What the heck does that even mean? If youve ever been a parent of small kids you know things happen, apparently my baby sitting on my lap in her diaper was a problem for this gentleman. It was weird and really put a bad taste in my mouth. Im sure Jesus is far more concerned with my heart instead of what my infant is wearing.
