Our previous vet moved away, and we encountered an urgent issue with our dog before establishing with a new vet. We called SVC and were able to bring our Wilbo in on a Friday evening for treatment. Weve since returned for surgery and follow ups with Dr. Foltyn; it has been a blessing to be able to have one provider take care of all of our dogs needs. Dont hesitate to bring your pets to SVC; they will be well cared for!

5 /5 Lorey Sanchez: The most compassionate , caring, and true love for pets Vet I have ever been to!!!They will send you pictures and have daily calls of fur babies medical state . My dog is a 5 year old frenchie who had to get a corn cob removed from his stomachThis caused him throwing up blood and bile.Rolly was diagnosed with ulcers too. Their prices are hands down the most reasonable vet prices I have ever seen!! What really made me love them was their l for fur babies !! So grateful to have my dog currently there now . 1/18/24( update ) Rolly has made a smooth and fast recovery!! All thanks to this amazing Veterinary!!! I have been to a handful of vets ever since I adopted Rolly and none have gone above and beyond like they have . They have also assisted me with sending all the paperwork necessary for Rollys insurance too . Frenchies have a lot of health issues and I am glad to know I have finally found a veterinarian that truly cares for their pets. Will be making them Rollys permanent veterinary ❤️

5 /5 J Rivas: Special thanks to Dr. Foltyn and her team! We took our 8 year old Husky on short notice about an hour before closing and they took great care of us. Dr. Foltyn was very thorough with her examination of our Husky and at no point we felt rushed despite it being close to closing time. I know Huskies can be dramatic when visiting the vet and hard to deal with but thanks to Dr. Foltyn and the VT that helped out our boy was easy to work with, which is a complete opposite from another vet we had visited in the past. I highly recommend Southwest Veterinary Center to anyone seeking a great team and quality service. The late hours is super convenient as well. Will definitely come back in the future

1 /5 JEAN-CLAUDE Lega: So, I just got a kitty 8 weeks old and wanted some rough estimates on a new kitty exam, shots and worming. She refused to give any estimates as they dont now how much an 8 wk old kitten weighs! They expressed me to come in and by that time, I may be hit with a very expensive bill. I was very uneasy to give them a try. Not even a typical range was given, I am easy going for a few bucks different. All I wanted to know was should I expect $100 or $300 but nothing. I wonder if they will last...

Alex Larsen: This hospital, the Emergency Department specifically, went above and beyond while I was there. The nurses and techs were phenomenal at their job, and very professional. Also very human, and showed empathy while listening attentively to my concerns. The doctor listened attentively and showed genuine compassion. If you end up needing an ER during a road trip and you are in the area I would highly recommend this location.

Kimberlie Currier: Dr. LaTortue has been our family doctor for 18 years. He is a brilliant man. He discovered things with our disabled daughter that top doctors in Tyler missed. He has saved her life and my life too. Most of the staff are great, but some are frustrating. But you will find that no matter where you go. Dr. LaTortue is worth it. And hes worth a long wait time on the few times weve had to wait a bit to see him. Hes not only super intelligent, hes caring and friendly and always ready with a smile and a laugh. (I dont understand giving the doctor a bad review just because you had to wait a while to see him. I would think the doctors ability to find whats making you ill would be more important than a quick wait time. But maybe thats just me). Dr. Kimberlie Currier & Family

She has never brushed off anything I’ve talked to her about. I see her and all of my children see her. We have found our permanent PCP. The best Dr experience we have ever had.

Abe Froman: After 3 yrs. and multiple visits, I was given an ultimatum today. Apparently, Insurance did not pay 1 bill in 2021 and I was told to pay or find a new Dr. Ive paid every bill Ive ever received from Freestone, this was the first time Id ever heard about this particular bill. They told me the statute of limitations had run out for Insurance and I was to pay immediately or find a new doctor. I will never be back to this location and you can choke on it! Ill drive 150 miles out of my way (one way) just to never have to come here again. I just wish the bill was worth more than $200. Im disabled and Im Medicare and this is how you treat people.

Jamie Hurt: Frio Regional Hospital was such a blessing to my family. My dad was admitted to the swingbed program and he was treated with so much kindness and respect. He was thriving when he left there due to the care of the staff. My children have also had a wonderful experience with the nurses in the er. I definitely recommend!!!

Thank you Dr. Singh for coming in quickly examining my sons infected finger and taking care of the issue right away! You answered all of our questions and was very helpful on the steps to take care of issue. I give these 2 medical professionals a 5 star!! Thats the kind of service a patient needs when they come into an ER.

John Sealy Hospital - Galveston

Merari Ramirez: I was sent here by my OB and the drs here failed to diagnose me with preeclampsia after I had so many symptoms (excessive swelling, protein in urine, elevated blood pressure, etc) they told me I just had high blood pressure and sent me home. 14 days later I woke up at 3am with the worst headache, wouldn’t go away with any pain meds, and a couple hours later I started losing my vision. My husband rushed home to help me and I started vomiting and losing conscious. I was rushed to the ER by ambulance and had an emergency c-section at HCA Houston Healthcare. I lost my memory for a couple days and it took a while for my blood pressure to go back to normal but HCA did a wonderful job of taking care of baby and me. They were all surprised that the drs at John Sealy didnt diagnose me with preeclampsia after all my symptoms.

They are respectful, patient, kind and I cant express enough just wonderful the are. The nurses Will, Shannon,Becky, Kevin, Youssa, and techs Chris, Rose and others made this expirence so much easier on my husband during his stay. Ive always felt nurses arent appreciated enough or paid enough but these here at Jennie Sealy absolutely deserve recognition and raises!
