Valley Johnson: Immanuel has an amazing group of welcoming, friendly, and loving people to worship with. The preaching, though, is the best part. Dr Moore has the calling, the passion, and the knowledge to reach every person in a special way no matter their spiritual background or walk. They’re a Biblically sound teaching church with the closeness of family.
Mac Broadway: Central Pres is my childhood church. My parents attended from age 5 - 16. I remember the preachers robes, his sleep-inducing sermons, the warm caring tutelage of the Sunday School teachers. I learned the tenants of the Christian faith here. Here I went through Communicants’ class, was baptized, & became a Presbyterian.
†Nearly all the churchs pews were given by families in the early 20th century. From inside on a Sunday morning, the stained-glass windows - full of sunshine - were breathtakingly beautiful. The pipe-organ was of concert quality. I often had trouble singing, because I was too mesmerized by the sound of the pipe organ.
