All Points Auto Electric - Austin
Judith Breidenbach: Eddie and All Points Auto Electric are the best! We took our Subaru on the recommendation of our regular mechanic because two batteries had died in a short period of time and our mechanic couldn’t find the problem. We needed an electrical expert and All Points Auto Electric found the problem in no time! This is where you need to take your car for any electrical issues. Highly, highly recommended! Excellent work! Thank-you, Eddie! Update: Eddie just checked in with me a month or so later to see how the car is running. Excellent customer service!!
Northwest Imports - Austin
Sb Rao: Bob and Team are amazing. Great shop and with confidence you can have your vehicle checked if any issues. Very friendly, reasonable, and perform quality work. They will guide and provide right guidance. I have been their customer for over 5 years and service is just awesome. Thanks team
Oak Hill Automotive - Austin
John Roger Wood: This has been my car maintenance shop for many years. This is not a huge operation with lots of expensive overhead. Hank, the owner, always greets me when I come in and we discuss what work needs to be done. After the shop gets started with my car, Hank always calls me to re confirm what will be done, including options and cost estimates. When the work is complete, Hank goes over what was done and answers my questions. The work is always done in a timely fashion, with no big surprises. Ive always been satisfied with the work. The whole operation is very organized, clean and professional. Dealing directly with the owner is reassuring, knowing everything will done to my satisfaction.
766 Auto Inc - Austin
Dani Beso: Recently had my brakes & rotors replaced at 766 Auto and it was an excellent experience. Danny was super friendly and helpful while explaining the process. He texted me an estimate within a half hour of dropping off my vehicle and had it completed within a few hours. Very efficient, friendly and professional mechanics. I actually feel relieved knowing I have a garage I can trust with future auto repairs. Thanks 766 Auto!!
Caps Service and Repair - Austin
Bradford Dilly: Met the owner at The Lonestar Roundup 2025. Was very kind, generous with his time and knowledgeable. They brought a pretty cool ride too.
Southwest Automotive - Austin
Darren and Mary Ann Hazlett: Southwest Automotive has been my go-to mechanics for years. They have always done great work. Prices are fair.
Arboretum Auto Service - Austin
Mike Walsh: I have been going to Tony for 10 years now. Best mechanic I found in Austin when I moved here. He is honest to the core which is hard to find in an auto mechanic, especially the franchise type locations. Great work, shoots you straight and wont try to sell you something you dont need.
Austins Automotive Specialists - Austin
Ethan Morris: Go somewhere else, they did a service (which took 3 days oddly and I had to call and ask) and left a complete mess over the vehicle, but worst of all they damaged the car! They tried to not acknowledge any wrong doing by not notifying me and when confronted all they could say was accidents happen! So you accidentally left oil on steering wheel and body parts? Nobody there takes pride in their work, are there any decent shops left? Those scratches are deep and fresh and now on my own time I have to take more time away from work to get it repaired. UPDATE: So yes they did pay for the damage to the vehicle, and the owner responded to this quickly so that’s appreciated, can’t say the same for the store manager. He made everything sound like such a burden. The service I had done because it was recommended ($3k oil pump replace) did not fix the issue. Like I mentioned to the shop it could be the sensor or sending wire… I replaced myself and seems to be working well now with gauge reading properly. I wonder if it was even checked or voltage tested.
REPAIR CHAMPION AUTO, INC. - Austin
Matthew Warner: Called at 9AM on a Saturday, brought the car for total brake pad + rotor replacement, service was done by 12:30PM. Fast, easy, fairly priced ($300 for service, $460 for parts + supplies), Oscar is knowledgeable and very friendly. They did have two pit bulls just kind of roaming the store but they were friendly too. The service came with a 1 year warranty, all around great experience!
Flamingo Automotive - Austin
Denise McClinton: No one ever says they had a great time getting a radiator replaced but the people at Flamingo Auto truly did make it feel that way. Wonderful customer service and highly professional mechanics did a thorough job in an emergency situation. They were very communicative throughout the process and the price was what was quoted and fair.
