Huero Argyle: Pretty cold. Very awkward. The Gospel message poured through old wine skin. It’s like a cult.

Monica Cornish: I knew when I walked in this place that the Spirit of the Lord was present. There’s a real connection with the Pastor and his wife here, they have a deep desire of love that overflows from their hearts to ALL. I had to move away but that never stopped this family from loving me, I’m still a part in their hearts and it’s evident. I would encourage you to go and see for yourself the love of Jesus in this place. Amen

Sierra King: I used to attend this church for service and also Bible study, womens study and worked in the media part of service back in 2015-2016! I honestly genuinely had a great experience at first meeting new people, especially the ladies who took me under their wings. I spent most of the week there either doing different studies or preparing for Sunday service. One service I brought my then new husband (we got married after 3 weeks of knowing each other so I had not introduced him to the leaders of the church) who stood up in the back of the church since I was working media and he sits alot during the week for work. Unfortunately someone in the congregation saw my husband and how he looked and reported to the head of the church that he was a terrorist. My husband is from Colombia but has Lebanese in his genetics so looks Egyptian. When I was told this I then rushed to one of the heads of the church to inform them that was my husband, and not a terrorist. It was very sad to see how someone in the congregation just look at his facial features and called him a terrorist. Especially with the amount of time I spent at that church and time I devoted to working the media, this was very devasting/traumatizing to me and still annoys me till today. He is Seventh day Adventist so he went to the service that day to help support me working media. After this incident which truly affected me, I then changed churches and now is a seventh day Adventist, where we worship on the sabbath (Saturday). Thankfully the churches we have visited are more diverse so thankfully no body has assumed my husband is a terrorist. I waited years to post about it here but wanted any TXST students (who was like me) to be aware that while the services and Bible studies were nice, the congregation is not very diverse. I would hate for this to happen to someone else who is just wanting to worship our Lord Jesus Christ and bring in new followers.
The Well Community Church - San Marcos
Robin Steele: What a great church. I love Pastor Chris and know that he is an outstanding spiritual leader for the collective church of San Marcos. I am a pastor “across town” (actually just a couple miles down the road). It has been an honor to partner with The Well Community Church on several projects and we look forward to many more! Thank you for coming to San Marcos and making an eternal impact here for so many.
New Life Christian Center - San Marcos
Pastor Brad Perry: Incredible Pastor and Staff. They Love Well!
University Church of Christ - San Marcos
Trenton Motal: University has been my church home for most of my life, and youd be hard pressed to find a group of more Christ like people. The elders work hard to ensure everything we do is "by the book", and their dedication shows in the lessons and programs run by this congregation. With a strong youth group, this is the place to be if you want your children to grow in their devotion to God and in their friendships with others. The congregation also supports the McCarty student center as our campus ministry at Texas State. A place to study and hang out, but also a offering several opportunities to study the Bible, McCarty feels more like home now than my house. Our preachers; Wayne Jones, Jordan Moore, and Trent Kennedy, are devoted to sound doctrine and ensure that we are challenged and encouraged after every gathering. If you are looking for the Church that you read about in the Bible, come and visit us, we love to answer questions and cant wait to get to know you.
