5 /5 Stephanie P: I tried many churches years ago and found that non-denominational, evangelical, Christian congregations are now using fog machines and corny, formulaic worship music. I came to Riverbend expecting much of the same given the size of the place but was pleasantly surprised to find a lucid and intentional ministry. They aren’t trying to “win” the younger crowds with laser lights. The congregation here is a good mix of old and young. I started attending regularly in 2015 and have since brought my husband and my daughter here. My daughter is now 5 and has loved the children’s ministry and tells me what she learns there and I’m always so delighted. She knows Jesus is the Son of God, has the full power of God within him, was a real man who sacrificed himself on a cross, came back from the dead to raise into heaven, and is coming back to our realm one day to claim his Church. She knows that he loves us all individually beyond comprehension and our sins are already forgiven. — I wish I lived closer so I could be more involved but we will continue to make the pilgrimage from
Dripping Springs on Sunday mornings.
