4 /5 Ike: I have many great memories at this church. Ive seen hundreds of low income families receive food and help through their faithfulness toward Christ. I have only one encouragement. I heard a message that was inspired by the teachings of David Platt who claimed that God hates the sin AND the sinner. My wife to be challenged the pastor on this and he asked where in the bible does it say that God loves the sinner and hates the sin. Read Romans 5:8.

1 /5 Jude Clarence: i visited for a while to realize that this church is a cult. they are incredibly intense, very emotion driven. the pastor was very manipulative and physical with me and my friends. everyone in the church follows blindly to anything pastor rick says. there is no one keeping him accountable. when i left some of the members wouldnt stop calling my phone and leaving voice mails but pastor rick completely dropped me. the pastor is unsettling. and the church has no windows. i asked one of the members of the church if they wanted to grab lunch with our group and they said they would have to check with pastor rick. and the pastor said no. this is after knowing one of the members for a while too. the ladies in the sparrow house cant leave the church without his approval. this church made me feel uncomfortable, mentally and spiritually

1 /5 Chris Wiesehan: I literally once walked past and they had the sidewalks full of people barbequeing, having loud stereos blasting, and being a obnoxious nuisance to people just trying to walk past without hassle, such as me. Ive walked in the area other times and they wont give you one minute of peace without bothering you. As someone kind of autistic who hates blasting music and people bothering you for no reason whatsoever, its torture.

And that’s how I would describe Capital City Church! Pastors Blaise and Brandon are humble leaders with a thirst and fire for Jesus Christ! Both Pastors are actively involved all facets of the church, and the weekly prayer nights are my favorite to recharge from a busy week. The church has grown significantly ever since I joined and is just further proof of the work the Lord is doing in Capital City Church. I unfortunately had to re-locate for work to Dallas, TX but I will always call Capital City Church my home, forever and always!
