Jillian Charon: Indoor service as well as outdoor for Covid. Love this church. For those seeking a safe home where you can explore your journey with God, this is the place to be. Just like everyone else, we stray away and then return. Being here, I can disappear for years and still be welcomed, loved and embraced when I return. A true embodiment of God.

Neartown Church - Houston
Neartown Church
Keelan Cook: Full disclosure: Im a member of this church. But, that means I can provide more than just a review of a Sunday service. I know the leadership and a great deal of the community here, and I can say its an excellent church. My family has served here for several years now, and we have grown to love these people. The church strikes a great balance of grace and truth, is clear in its message, and firmly rooted in the Bible. Yet, they are intensely people-focused. They love on visitors and work hard to incorporate new people. Its ironic, but in a city as big as Houston its often so hard to find real, authentic community, a place of belonging. Neartown does a good job of fostering that kind of connection with others, centered in Christ. If youve just moved into the area and are looking for a solid church, firmly rooted, and also a fun community, you should give this one a try. Or, if you dont consider yourself a Christian, but youre looking for something that offers hope, Neartown is a great place to start that journey.
