Lifeline Church - Denton
Rodrigo Vivar: LOOKING TO JOIN A CHRIST-CENTERED FAMILY? - This church is over a year into a management change, and the results have been amazing! I have been with the new pastors for 6 years before they took over Lifeline, and I can say that they care about the people of the congregation, and always facilitate opportunities to grow as individuals and also as leaders. Families are welcomed, young families are welcomed, young couples are welcomed, single individuals are welcomed! Lifeline has a wide demographic of people attending and it really has made me feel like a belong.

Denton Unitarian Universalist Fellowship - Denton
Amy Lewis: I walked in got a pamphlet and sat down. No friendly welcome, no “Hi, how are you?” The two ladies were talking amongst themselves handed me a pamphlet and not a word to me at all. They just kept talking about teaching. As I sat I enjoyed the message of inclusiveness. However, that’s all it was besides how to be silent and imagine yourself as your food, and be the moment of the food. Very Very Very enlightened based. I’m a single mom that works hard, I’m a lesbian, I’m struggling. They were no meaty passionate messages of hope, faith, how to deal or be a better you. Just a quiet, silent, very quiet and silent long long message of imagining a tangerine traveling and a bite of food in your mouth. You want more members, be more practical and so some passion for what this church stands for. I want to belong to something bigger than myself, something strong. I don’t want to hear about mindful eating, and neither does any other struggling parent. This is not a strong church. It’s a silent one.
Central Baptist Church - Denton
Central Baptist Church
Renee Clyde: Warm, friendly, KJV Bible preaching, hymn singing, heart for missions church with a good blend of younger and senior members. The pastor loves the members of the congregation. The church strives to please and honor God in their relations with God, each other, and the community.
