Fr Kyle is a great confessor! Good to find! JP II is small and warm! If youve been away for a while this is the Catholic Church to come home to!

5 /5 Luz Torres: I attend Mass at JP II Church every Sunday. It is a welcoming Church and I feel very good here. I really like how Father Joseph explains the gospel every Sunday. The Eucharist is the most sublime and the greatest act of love of Jesus Christ towards us. We are blessed to be part of this community. We are blessed to belong to the Catholic Church. We thank you Lord for feeding us every Sunday with your word, which is life, and with your body, which is food for our soul. Glory to you Lord!

Amy Lewis: I walked in got a pamphlet and sat down. No friendly welcome, no “Hi, how are you?” The two ladies were talking amongst themselves handed me a pamphlet and not a word to me at all. They just kept talking about teaching. As I sat I enjoyed the message of inclusiveness. However, that’s all it was besides how to be silent and imagine yourself as your food, and be the moment of the food. Very Very Very enlightened based. I’m a single mom that works hard, I’m a lesbian, I’m struggling. They were no meaty passionate messages of hope, faith, how to deal or be a better you. Just a quiet, silent, very quiet and silent long long message of imagining a tangerine traveling and a bite of food in your mouth. You want more members, be more practical and so some passion for what this church stands for. I want to belong to something bigger than myself, something strong. I don’t want to hear about mindful eating, and neither does any other struggling parent. This is not a strong church. It’s a silent one.

Kelly: St Barnabas Church is a good place to be. Ive had a lot of bad experiences w churches in my 54 yrs of life but this church is led by Father Don Johnson & his lovely wife Emanda Johnson. Ive known them for over 15 yrs & they are genuine loving inclusive people who accept people for who ever they are. The church was just rebuilt & services started in the beautiful new building Fathers Day Sunday. The building is comfortable & the stain glass stunning. The church has been very generous to the communities social programs lending their kitchens & meeting hall to support groups & social service agencies. Every year they host a blessing of the animals inviting the community for blessings usually its hosted in the Spring l believe. Services are on Sunday mornings l believe there are 2 services. If your looking for a all people inclusive community church that values each member & gives to the community, respects our planet, and doesnt judge people then ld implore you to give this church a try.
