When the stylist at Designers group salon cancelled my appointment at the last minute in order for her to take one of her already "established clients", I sent Crystal a text asking if she could possibly get me in today for a full foil highlight and a hair cut. She immediately responded back that she could get me in at 3pm. I have a big event tomorrow and was worried I wouldnt be able top have my hair done, but thanks to her Im no longer stressing out about it! I will be sure to update my review after my appointment to let you know how everything went! Im Sure itll be great!

1 /5 Tatum Everly: Was debating on leaving a review but here is how my hair looks right now. I just asked for a root touch up on my highlights and the top of my hair looks ridiculous. Different colors, did unevenly, and doesn’t even look like highlights. I didn’t ask for a hair color change but my blonde is darker. And asked for my dead ends to cut and not everything was cut off and my cut was very uneven. Even under my highlights are did unevenly. I wanted to go back and get it fixed but did not want to pay for what should have been done correctly the first time. I have orange tones throughout all of my head My hair was done by melody, im not bashing just sharing my experience. I’m so disappointed with my hair.

Jennifer Green: The owner is VERY VERY RUDE!! She totally screwed up my color. Had to pay $200 and 3 hrs of my time to get it corrected. AVOID THIS “SALON”. The employees are great, but the owner has TERRIBLE SKILLS!!! She refused to reimburse me for the terrible job she did on my hair color. I went to another salon after the second ones. She could not believe that the second girl. They couldn believe the second girl failed to color the dark hair in the back back to blond again. This whole experience cost me $300.00 plus tip. This was a very stressful experience because we don’t have a whole lot of extra money to correct very bad mistakes made by hairstyles.

I came in with outgrown black box dye and she gave me exactly what i wanted, she also educated me on what to expect.After having previous bad experiences with hair dressers, she definitely changed my mind on going to salons and it has helped so much with my confidence! The prices are very fair, especially with the quality of work and knowledge/ experience that she has, it was absolutely worth it. She is the sweetest and you can tell she has passion for what she does!

Yesterday i went to TWO different salons I left in tears at the first salon (pictures below) my hair was NOT what i asked for, my hair reeked of bleach, it was three different colors, my scalp was burning (she bleached me 3 TIMES) not only that my curls were completely destroyed, my hair was falling out by the clump, i literally was pulling my hair out. it was so much breakage I was about to shave my hair and call it day, I was so heartbroken, my hair is literally everything, it’s what makes my face, outfit whatever come together. I was crying and going through so many emotions. I looked up “Haircuts in Waco” and On The Avenue Salon & Blowout Bar popped up first, I called i was crying on the phone explaining my situation, they said come in to see what they can do, an hour later i walk in i was met with so many sweet ladies, who understood where i was coming from and they literally did their big one! Evie was super sweet told me what i could do to rejuvenate my curls gave me recommendations and how to keep my curls healthy. NOT ONLY THAT they had time to fit me in and did my hair THAT DAY!!! there was one sweet girl who did my hair i forgot her name (she had glasses and brown hair) she washed it, conditioned it, gently detangled it, not one brush or comb was used, and put toner in and made it all one color. I WAS VERY HAPPY WHEN I LEFT!! my hair is saved i don’t have to cut it off and restart, these ladies did their BIG ONE!! i’m so happy
