5 /5 Alex Bell: As with any of the New Hope campuses, you will be welcomed/greeted at the door.
You will find friends and drinks with something to feed your stomach.
You will find live music to raise your spirit.
You will not only hear the living word but lessons of loving kindness to feed your soul.
And if I could only share one piece of advice to any greeter or volunteer, it would be to stop saying, "Have a good day," or "See ya later."
But instead, welcome them back with, "See ya next week."
I have been visiting churches for many years. I never turned down an invitation. I have driven hours just for a one-time visit. Yet, New Hope stands out among the crowd as the example, the standard, above all others big or small.
Forgive me if you are one who prefers a traditional formal setting with certain rituals and ornate works of art or stained glass, yet for me, I would not feel comfortable and likely vice versa. But I am happy to meet you on the left when I arrive through the gates. :)
