Monte Bella Trails Park - Brownsville (TX)

5 /5 Juan Sanchez: I went there for a Trail Run 5k. It was my first time there, honestly I was pleased at how peaceful and clean the trail was. Definitely would go again for another visit. Please ignore the heavy breathing in my vid as it was the first time I ran a 5k since 2018

5 /5 Antonio Sanchez: Amazing place when you give it a chance. There is actually so much to explore here. Theres a bike trail and so many other man made walking trails through trees. We loved it. Definitely have a picnic or a date or bring your pet. Park closes at sundown so come before then but after high noon lol. Bring a football or soccer ball or Frisbee! Lots of disc golf available.

5 /5 Bill Braaten: Great place to hike and I think it is very safe. There are no entrances other than the main entrance, and I have never had a problem there There is a disc golf course that is in a little disrepair, but if you are a disc golfer I think you would like it. Dogs need to be on a leash but there is plenty of space There are four or five picnic tables but no barbecue.

5 /5 Rhett Raibley: Simple, but nice trail system that goes around the edge of the disc golf course. Covered by trees. Great for hiking, jogging, or birdwatching, which is why I paid a visit. There are bathrooms near the playground on the northeast corner, but nowhere else. There is parking on both the north and south entrances.

5 /5 Jody Rogers: What a cool trail! Its so windy and fun! The vast majority of the trail is shaded and its just gorgeous. I saw a ton of wildlife including snakes (one HUGE one!), an armadillo, a couple different types of woodpeckers, an owl, and some sort of yellow and green bird that Ive never seen before. All of this and I did this hike in the middle of the afternoon (around 2:00)! I only saw 2 other people in the parking lot and no one else on the trail. Such a cool surprise!
