Modesto Gomez Park - El Paso (TX)

2 /5 Alexander Moore: The whole park is fenced off and is nothing but dirt. You cant get any closer to the X than in the photo I shared. Still, it is the closest viewing point to the X on the US side as far as Im aware.

1 /5 Garrett Vogenbeck: This park is closed and completely abandoned. It looks quite trashed and dead, which is shame since it seems like its in a decent spot right across from the big red X.

4 /5 Brenda Cruz: The upkeep of these fields has to get better. Ive been playing kickball here for 3 years now, and theres always the same problems: large holes in the grassy areas, very wet areas that never seem to dry because of the holes, and stickers that are painful and cling onto the balls. Its definitely a nice area for the park and it offers a walking trail along with baseball fields, and soccer areas, but the upkeep needs to improve.

2 /5 yepers13: This park is under renovations. It doesnt look inviting at this point but the City of El Paso Parks and Recreation and city leaders promise to make it a really nice park. It was built on top of a landfill decades ago and it sorely needs top of the line improvements. Keeping my fingers crossed. Stand by.
