1 /5 Doug Marceron: I have a friend who has a very sick mother who is oxygen dependent. She has been in the hospital for 2 weeks. She was on a breathing machine and the doctors decided to take her off the machine. Well, she started breathing on her own. While she was in the hospital, SWEPCO, disconnected her electricity, even with a medical certificate. My friends mom wants to go home to die and not pass in the hospital. My friend has 2 kids, one 17 months and one thats 4 years and she takes care of her mother full time and lives with the mother. I told her to call Mobberly Baptist Church and explain the situation to them as I know they help people in need. Well, not this time. After telling them all this, they told her that they couldnt help her that they dont have any funds until February. I just wanted people to know that go to this church.Personally, I was very disappointed as they have thousands of members with no funds until February. Thought it was strange. I know they cant help everyone but I just thought what would Jesus do and how not very Christian it was to send her away. Didnt offer her any other assistance. Not even a Walmart card. :(
