Medical City Surgery Center McKinney - McKinney (TX)

1 /5 Brandon Tran: Had surgery here with Dr. Lambert and everything went well; however, I had found out about a month ago that I overpaid the facility by about $350 and disputed it with my insurance and the facility on 3/18. I was informed by my insurance 4 days later that I would receive a refund in a few weeks, but I called the surgery centers billing department on 4/1 just to check the status. I wound up speaking to the same woman I spoke to initially, but she was very rude, irritable, and unfriendly this time around. Based off of the older reviews before me, I wouldnt be surprised if it was the same woman. Im fine with seeing Dr. Lambert and I think he does an excellent job, but I dont think Ill have any procedures through the facility again.

5 /5 Michelle Phillips: My husband and I recently had colonoscopies for screening and I had rotator cuff surgery at medical city McKinney surgery center. The staff was very professional, prompt, and caring. From admission through discharge we were treated very courteously, We felt like we were in good hands the entire time. Highly recommend this facility!

5 /5 Dotti Musco: The location was easy to find. They called me the day before surgery to give me instructions necessary prior to surgery. The nurse emailed me their link so I could input all my information at my leisure . I really liked that it gave me time to get my medical history and current medications with correct dosage . When I fill that out in the office while waiting to see the doctor I am never sure I remember all of them. When you finish it is posted to all the doctors that will attend on the case . Dr Osbourne the anesthesiologist called me the evening before to give instructions as to when and what I could eat and drink He explained that he would keep me awake during surgery but I would feel no pain. I felt comfortable instead of fearful before my surgery. All the staff from registrational to the nursing staff did a wonderful and caring job while I was under their care. It was a wonderful experience. They called me this morning to check on how I was feeling. I would highly recommend their facilities services.

3 /5 Deborah Gidney: Facility, Doctors and Nurses are fabulous. Billing department is awful. Surgery on July 11 - got a Statement of what I owe on 9/11 (dated 9/9) Took 60 days to make receive a statement. I made a payment and reached out to both billing and insurance company about a discrepancy. Made another payment two weeks later while waiting on the resolvement of my issue. Then made another payment a couple weeks later - 3 in 6 weeks. Got a call from a collection agency. I called billing and she said the bill was not paid in full in 90 days from date of surgery so it goes to collections. Total BS, took 90 days to get it and the balance is in appeal. She is incredibly rude and the practice of turning someone over to credit that is PAYING their bill in a timely fashion is ridiculous.
