2 /5 Maggie Mae: Design in the left picture was done by a licensed professional. The one on the right, was done by ME.
I came in and had a clear idea of exactly how I wanted my nails to be done. White acrylics, with a red lightning bolt, outlined in gold on the ring fingers. The inspo pictures I had on hand were mainly focused on the shape of the bolt. Fairly simple. Yet, this is what I left with.
Although I am very pleased with the outcome of my acrylics themselves, the design was consciously done so poorly that I also left with a $5 voucher and a recommendation of who to come back and see to fix it.
I was also told that my nails were “too short” to be able to achieve such a design. But, clearly that was not the case.
Said licensed professional was more focused on giving me the drama of another customer than the actual service and art I was hoping to receive.
So in conclusion, my left pinky toe has more ability to draw a simple design than…that.
