Aura Salon & Spa - Denton Harley Hall: Came in with a Pinterest photo of what I wanted, and they turned out better than the picture!!!! I donāt get my nails done often, so I didnāt know gel/dip/acrylic differences but the women at the front desk gave me good advice and pointed me in the right direction. The pedicure was awesome too- my stubborn ingrown toenail got a MAJOR facelift. I was nervous bringing in a picture from online for reference, but when my nail tech wasnāt able to quite get the color to pop, the shop manager took over and showed her how, and made sure I got exactly what I wanted. I canāt do my nails often because of my job, but this is the spot Iāll be going to and telling my friends about from now on. Thank you ladies!!!

Allure Nail Bar Denton - Denton Mary Ray: Iāve been coming here for at least 2 or 3 years and this place is great! Every person Iāve had is always very sweet and the quality is pretty consistent regardless of who does my nails.
Bonita Nail Spa & Tan - Denton Katharyn Wiegand: I was passing through Denton and searched local reviews for a nail salon. Bonita Nail and Spa lives up to the good reviews. I was greeted warmly as a walk-in and was seated without a wait. I selected the deluxe pedicure and it was one of the best salon experiences I have had. I left with a beautiful pedicure. I highly recommend this business.
VIP Nail Lounge Denton - Denton General Happiness: I donāt even write reviews but I have to write a review about this place. This was my first time going here and they are inconsistent with their pricing. They will price you one thing then whenever it is time to actually pay they will try to price you another thing. I donāt understand their length policy either, they cut like 2mm then say that is a $2 difference. After I said I didnt like the nails I got, they were french tips with a pink base. This man came out of nowhere trying to join the argument when I was trying to talk to Jennifer which I believe is her name, because I was dissatisfied because the nail was giving bubbly and it needed buffing and it just wasnāt giving at all. Mind you, they were going to charge me $88 for some long french tip nails, that were completely different from my vision, but I was open to compromising. Anyways, after I said I didnāt like it the man was like just cut it off and I said thatās fine, but they cut it off and left it like that and told me I would have to pay $20 to get it taken off and soaked off. Why would I pay to take off nails I donāt like just because you couldnāt satisfy it. I was not going to spend $90 on some janky nails. I donāt appreciate trying to get yelled at and it was just unprofessional. Then the man was telling the woman not to service me for whatever reason, might be a racial thing because we all came in nice. Then when we were all confused he told her to be careful in case I do something. Mind you Iām under 150 pounds, what would I do? I just didnāt like my nails and I wasnāt going to pay. so I was left with these and my nails hurt. Anyways, donāt go to this business.
Barnharts Nail Studio - Denton Alisha R: I love the way my nails turned out. It was a great experience. Not one complaint. There are not many nail techs that truly care about nail health. I can appreciate Natalieās approach to staying away from harmful chemicals when doing nails. Iāll definitely be back!
NAIL BAR @ DENTON - Denton Tempest Moore: I will be looking for another salon. I initially came in for a pedicure and full set. The man that greeted me was extremely rude and impersonal. He didnāt say hello or anything. I told him what I needed done and he got me with a tech who was extremely nice.
The second time I came in, I needed a repair on my thumb nail (it broke). Again I encountered the same man, who just said āsitā Keep in mind I called prior to coming and was told to come about 4PM.
Happy Nail Spa - denton - Denton Armanda Battle: I never thought Iād be that person to write a review, but I had to come rate this place and share my awful experience. I was getting a pedicure and it was the fastest I ever had. I knew I still had calluses on my feet , so I told her she didnāt get all of it. She told me it would be extra. Which is weird, because they always been able to remove the calluses any time I got a pedicureā¦ with out charging extraā¦ so Iām like okay , Iāll pay. Why she come from the back with a cheese grater!! Iām like , no ! I donāt use that. I use the pumice stone. The lady started getting an attitude and left me in the chair for 10 minutes. My feet were dry. She came back after ten minutes and started scraping my dry heel with the pumice stone. I told her , it was okay. I will go else. Iām not sure if it was a race thing or what, but I also heard other customers getting greeted and offered something to drink. I didnāt get that treatment. So I left
Replying to owner: should I have let her use the cheese grater on my feet while they were dry ? Then I wouldāve bledā¦ I went to another shop and they got all the calluses off with out using that tool. I agreed to paying extra $8 because she said she could get it off , didnāt know she was going back to get that. I actually did payā¦ $12 for my daughterās nails, because thatās what the guy charged me.. still have receipt.. yall werenāt looking for me to pay because yall knew the woman had messed up my pedicureā¦ but no need to go back and forwardā¦ I left my review , and Iām done here..: just hope she does better in the future and doesnāt run any more clients off.
