1 /5 J Middleton: I am deeply upset and disappointed with the service I received today at this nail bar. Unfortunately, my recent visit has turned into a nightmare. As a client of four years, I was assigned a new, much older technician who was extremely rude and forceful during my pedicure. Despite repeatedly asking her to stop when she was hurting me, she ignored my requests and even pushed my hand away.
The technician placed my foot in a bag of hardened wax, (bahama pedicure) causing it to stick all over my foot. Instead of fixing it properly, she washed the hot wax off and peeled it off with her hands. The polish I requested originally, once she finished it was chipped and looked unprofessional.
When I addressed my concerns with the manager, Henry, he suggested I let the same technician redo the pedicure. I refused, given her lack of care the first time. He offered only a 10% discount, citing a language barrier as the reason for her behavior. I felt dismissed, especially after being a loyal customer for so long. Under new management, it’s clear that customer service has deteriorated.
I ended up paying $45 for a pedicure that left me with wax on my foot, chipped toenails, and sticky exfoliate residue on my legs. When I asked to speak to the owner, I was told they didn’t know where she was. I will not be returning and expect a full refund.
