1 /5 T. B.: Sad about the service but not surprised…..
I returned to Lavender Nails after six months and, unfortunately, had a disappointing experience. When I walked in, a staff member greeted me warmly but seemed surprised to see me, which should’ve been a red flag. I asked for a $42 pedicure, which was the second option on the menu, and waited about 10-15 minutes—no big deal.
The woman who did my pedicure seemed rushed, jumping from one client to me. My toenails are uneven in length and shape, and I had to guide her through reshaping them. Despite my efforts, the nails still weren’t uniform, and the polish was thin, uneven, and a bit messy, with some overlap onto my skin. Additionally, the drill caused uneven nail beds.
When I spoke to the owner about my concerns months ago I thought this was the most appropriate response since I hadn’t really had a bad experience before but today I was met with a vague “oh, that’s not good” and no real resolution. I even suggested removing the thin polish from their shelves so another customer doesn’t have my same experience with that polish, but the response was just “….could please enter your card.”
I’ve been a frequent customer in the past, but after today’s experience, I’m sure I won’t return. this is an affluent area with plenty of clientele so I know patronizing this place or not wont impact their business in the least. It’s just disappointing to see some clients aren’t treated the same.
