Lamar Park - Wichita Falls (TX)

4 /5 Natasha Wagner: Beautiful park. However, there are several spots of graffiti on the play structure. You can tell they have tried to clean the graffiti off in the past, but older kids/teens keep repeating it. Fairly clean, though, aside from the writing on the play structure. The picnic pavillion is beautiful.

2 /5 Christopher Griffin: Lots of well manicured grass for our kids to run in without weeds, ants or stickers. The newer play equipment is derelict and sun worn but the old metal slide and swings are just fine for our 6yo, 4yo and 2yo. The inside of the pavilion is littered with debris from a long gone birthday party and bird droppings are painted all over the floor. Over all not a clean looking or feeling place. Though there are plenty of trash cans available, care wasnt taken by users to clean up after themselves, likely due to something akin to what broken window theory suggests.

3 /5 Myra Robison: While the park was well manicured, the gazebo area was neglected. There were cobwebs under the picnic tables and my daughter was scared to sit there due to the fear of spiders. This is a park that is attached to a school lot and that wasnt in the information when we looked up public parks. There are several trees, for laying out a blanket for a picnic. My main complaint is there isnt really any benches in the shade or trees around the play area.

3 /5 Andre Diaz: Nice place to walk around and hang out only downside is where the only protection from rain there is a ton of bird poop as well as the only restroom is none cleanly
