I then took the car to a more credible automotive ac technician who told me my compressor was fine that these people hooked up my new ac compressor WRONG............ Would not recommend this place of you want your ac fixed right..... VERY shady business

5 /5 David Gonzales: Awesome service I came from Harlingen after being told I needed to pay over $1000 repair my ac we found these guys and I couldn’t recommend them higher then 5 stars or I would. They were honest and fair and did the ac recharge replaced a part that costed 12.99 and I left out the door ac repaired for a total of: $65!!! Don’t trust anyone with your but Jauregui automotive!

I’ve recommended them to a few friends from Brownsville who got stuck here a few months ago because their car’s oil pump sensor was messed up and they managed to get them back on the road relatively quickly! They’re kind, honest people and I will never go anywhere else for any general services that I need :,)

Mike P: IT’S THE LITTLE THINGS THAT MATTER!! I have a 5.4 3v F-150 took it in for timing set swap, and when I called JR he took his time talking to me and making me feel confident he’s is the right mechanic for the job! (~ $1,100 in parts alone I better trust the mechanic before I take it in!) So I said let’s do it! He told me to bring it in next week because he was packed with other cars and let me tell you he was worth the WAIT!! I told him to send me pictures of the inside of the engine to see wear and tear and he did! I told him to keep the box’s of the used parts ..he did! I told him to keep me updated with more pics after..he did! The guy even went above and beyond by cleaning and painting my valve covers and engine front face!?!?? Who the hell ever did that for a customer?? I didn’t even ask for that but he did it! 5 stars brotha hands down!! He has all the experience and tools don’t question it and go with your friends cousin that charges less, get it done right the first time!

Jason Perez: My 2005 Dodge Ram needed engine head gaskets replaced. This is major engine work but Sergio’s delivered after being recommended by my neighbor in a car club. Sergio made a point to correct all existing issues along with the main repair to ensure the job was done right. The price was fair and standard. Job took 2-3weeks but it is worth noting that the city sustained heavy storms during that time. I would recommend this place to all my friends and family. He’s just a great guy.

PK BIRD: DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM! Took my vehicle to change timing chain. Picked it up several days later and power steering now making noise. Told me to drive it a few days. Still making noise. They couldnt find anything wrong. I took it to another mechanic and immediately was told the rack and pinion was damaged as if the motor was dropped on it or something. 2nd mechanic even explained to Maldonado that it was damaged by his shop but he refused to pay for it. He caused over $600 damage to my vehicle that I have to pay for now. Absolute worst experience. They will break your vehicle and leave you with the bill!

I did not expect to get my car back till maybe Wednesday or Thursday the next week just because of the holiday. Called me in the morning next day and told me the work that needed to be done and price and that the car would be finished at 6pm that day! The cost of the total repair was fair and I really appreciate the hustle he showed getting me, and all his other customers, fixed before the holiday. Im really happy with the work and will use him again!

Juan Garcia: Avoid This Shop – Poor Quality Work & No Communication I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. I’ve taken my car here three times, and each time, I got it back with unfinished work. The quality just isn’t there. Either they have inexperienced mechanics or they’re just not thorough. Here’s what happened on my most recent visit (November 2024): • One headlight was unplugged and crooked. • The hood doesn’t pop when I press the button. • Three months waiting for a rim replacement. These aren’t huge issues, but when the same type of mistakes happen every time, it’s frustrating and inconvenient. What’s the most scary is that they can’t get the little details right. Imagine the big ones and the things we can’t see. On a previous visit, I got my car back with a wind noise on the driver’s side. The manager said they’d fix it, but the problem was still there. Later, when the weather got hot, my AC wasn’t cooling properly. I took it to the dealership and was told it was accident-related damage—something Eagle Automotive failed to catch. I had to pay out of pocket for the repair. One of the worst things about this shop is their lack of communication. They never update you—you have to keep calling them. For example, I dropped my car off on 11/20/24 and am still waiting for the rim replacement. I’m sure it’s already there, but no one has contacted me. Save yourself the hassle and take your car somewhere else.
