1 /5 Shelby G. Scarbrough: Savannah was great!! And years ago, I had another person cut my hair, and I recall being pleased with her as well. The price is very reasonable too!
The reason for the low rating is the unprofessional behavior of Katelyn, who I presume is the owner, or manager. I walked in, asked about availability, and she asked me to sign in. At that point, I noticed the door didn’t close, so I went over to close it and slid on the mat, falling on the ground and out the door. She asked if I was ok, and said that had never happened before and quickly resumed tending to her client’s hair. Thankfully, a concerned patron tended to me. After my cut, I turned to Katelyn and asked if there was any paperwork to fill out, in case I have issues in the next couple of days after my fall. Her response was, I’ve had that mat for 12 years. Well, there’s ALWAYS a first time. Against my better judgement to file an incident/ injury report, I decided to leave because it was evident she was not taking ownership, despite witnessing the event.
Say what you must, the mat slid, and I fell. The other client saw it and I lived it - no need to see a video. Bottom line, I’m not trying to get anything from you, merely to point out your unprofessional behavior and poor response to someone getting hurt in your salon.
