Lots of activities for little bitty kids, all the through high school. Tyler Metro Church - Whitehouse

Jim Pendley: I attended Tyler Metro in the 1990s but moved away. In 2105 I returned and visited the church again. It was like we had never left, we were made to feel so welcome by everyone. The church has a beautiful sanctuary that could probably seat about 1,000 comfortably. The music is current and the founding pastor is still bringing messages that touch you. The church also has a great childcare center and after school program as well. My children attended the church camp called Stone Fort Encampment that holds up to 200 campers and includes a swimming pool and ropes course. I am told that the camp is available to rent for conferences also. If you are looking for a new church home you should visit Tyler Metro, I am sure you will feel right at home just like I do.

Kizzi Hogan: Beautiful Church. Its very organized, lots of rooms which is helpful when you need to break up into different age groups. Great location, plenty of parking, very clean, and wheelchair accessible. I cant say anything about the services that they have, I was there for a conference, breast cancer fundraiser, and pageant all rolled into one.

Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception - Tyler

Michelle Huhn: The Cathedral doors were open and we were able to visit. What a beautiful church. Clean, quiet, pristine and well air-conditioned. There were small areas for reflection and prayer and a nice spot to light candles. Thank you for being a wonderful Shepherd of our Diocese, Bishop Stickland.

I’m a born cynic and came from a religious background. When I surrendered my doubts and fears to the Holy Spirit, I immediately felt different. Johnathan, Joe, Steve, Tim, CJ, Joy, Scott, and Daniel lean into Holy Spirit guidance on everything they do. We are a Bible believing church…ALL of it. Even if it steps on toes. Johnathan will never apologize for that. If you want to be affirmed in your sin, you won’t find it here. BUT, you will be LOVED while you walk it out in faith. You are welcome here! Remember, judgement and conviction are not the same thing. If you’re uncomfortable with something said, maybe the Holy Spirit is convicting you. May God bless you!

We could not have picked a better place to worship God. We were nervous at first because we have never been to a church with out our family since we are new to Tyler. But coming here has been so spiritually rewarding. Thank you Grace Community at UB.

Church Under a Bridge Saturday - Tyler

Dawn Rogers: I recently attended Church Under A Bridge, not because I intended to, but because it was there when I arrived... I had intended to take some breakfast sandwiches and talk to some of the local homeless people about God. Boy was I surprised when the whole place was crammed with people, everyone enjoying themselves, singing, preaching, even lunch was served to the homeless. Praise God! Everyone seemed happy, welcome and clean, especially for being homeless. This particular Sunday a nice hot meal was provided. Tyler has done a great job cleaning up what was once the home-less area. People now appear respected, clean, safe and enjoying life again . The entire setup was appreciated by all! Helpers & homeless alike cleaned up & put every-thing in order before they left. Leaving the whole area clean as a whistle. Down the street theres a mission where the homeless can bathe & wash their clothes & nearby, what once were empty buildings, have been converted into small apartments. Some of the homeless have been able to get jobs at the mission. Perhaps, some work at the apartments as well, but thats purely supposition on my part. In any case, this is one city that has handled their homeless situation with flying colors! Now, THATs the way to invest & make it count for something wonderful! BRAVO to Tyler, TX & Church Under A Bridge!
