5 /5 Jim Pendley: I attended Tyler Metro in the 1990s but moved away. In 2105 I returned and visited the church again. It was like we had never left, we were made to feel so welcome by everyone. The church has a beautiful sanctuary that could probably seat about 1,000 comfortably. The music is current and the founding pastor is still bringing messages that touch you. The church also has a great childcare center and after school program as well. My children attended the church camp called Stone Fort Encampment that holds up to 200 campers and includes a swimming pool and ropes course. I am told that the camp is available to rent for conferences also. If you are looking for a new church home you should visit Tyler Metro, I am sure you will feel right at home just like I do.
