Melissa Green Best pedicure I’ve ever had. Big shout out to Tammy for putting in so much effort and time on my legs and feet. Upgrade your pedicure! The massage alone is worth it. I got the Platinum pedicure and it came with the works! She did not rush through it at all. Worth every penny. I also got a full set of acrylic for my engagement photos and they helped me with the design and everything. Absolutely the best all around. Earned a new loyal customer!

Anahi Villanueva Loved the atmosphere and tech’s attitudes. Austin did my pedi- she did leave dead skin under my feet after asking her to scrap it she said my feet were soft. Travis did my full- set. Great attitude but sadly my nails looked rushed. Lots of residue left. I asked for glitter and was told they ran out on my ring finger. Got these done 4 days ago.

Amara Davis I don’t think I’ll ever return. I came in because my regular nail technician didn’t have any availability before I needed to go out of town, and I remembered having the best pedicure of my life at Venice, so I decided to give it a try again. I arrived with a similar set of nails, just with about half an inch of new growth. I was charged $70, which I believe is outrageous. In the three or four times I’ve visited, I’ve noticed that the pricing is always inconsistent. When I sat down in the chair, I was quoted a price of $55. Being charged $50 for a fill, in my opinion is excessive. Since I already had short nails, I can understand the price if my nails were long and required restructuring for the appropriate length, but $50 is still unreasonable. Additionally, I wanted my nails cut down, and I was charged $5 for that. This seems like an unnecessary extra charge, especially since it took less than a minute to do with a drill for both hands. I also think $15 for a thin French manicure is a bit excessive. While the person who did my nails was very nice and did a great job, I originally requested someone specific who wasn’t available. I could sense that he was joking about me with someone else once I sat down in his chair. If I wasn’t offered some kind of compensation, I wouldn’t have any interest in returning.

Dixie Chavez The pedicure was nice and i decided to get a manicure because why not I was already there and things were going well. I got a basic manicure with gel and literally not even 24 hrs later four of my gel polished finger nails quite frankly came off throughout the day and I didn’t even notice. The service was good but the quality could have been better considering I spent over $100.

Katie Eiland Lily did a fantastic job on my nails! She did exactly what I asked for and made sure I was happy with my service! Definitely recommend. They sat me right away and was very attentive. I am very pleased with my experience at Venice Nail Spa.

Blitz Valentine Nails turned out fine, on top. Underneath was a mess and had to fix them myself. The man was nice, but I did see a woman be turned away from a walk-in by saying "appointment only," but I was a walk-in as well. This was a second choice to proximity, and Im usually not picky with my nails and nail salons, but yikes

Joy Berberek I FINALLY found a nail salon that was great! Tim did an excellent job on my acrylic nails with gel polish. And, we enjoyed a wonderful chat while he worked on my nails. That was a definite plus to actually be able to explain what I wanted and carry on a nice conversation! I will definitely make this my nail salon from now on!

Jessica Redman I absolutely love getting my nails done by Linh! She is truly amazing at what she does. Her attention to detail, especially with cuticle care, is top-notch, and my nails always look flawless. Not only do they turn out beautifully, but they also last a solid 3-4 weeks without chipping or lifting! She’s super professional, friendly, and makes every appointment such a relaxing experience. If you’re looking for a skilled and reliable nail tech, I highly recommend her!

Kathryn Walpole Bobcat Nail & Spa is my go-to for nails! Linh is amazing—quick, professional, and incredibly talented. My dip nails always come out perfect and never too thick like I’ve experienced elsewhere. Booking an appointment is easy, and she delivers flawless results every time. Her prices are very reasonable for the quality of work she provides. Highly recommend!

Matt Murphree Best nail salon in central tx! Linh does an amazing job. My dip manicure last for a month and I’m hard on my nails. I’ve gone to other places and none compare! Look at the cute flowers she hand painted!

Jessica J. Watts I’ve been a loyal customer of Bobcat Nail & Spa for many years, and they never disappoint! Linh always takes great care of my pedicures and manicures. I get gel nails, and they consistently last three weeks or more. She can add fun designs for holidays (spiders for Halloween, snowflakes at Christmas). The salon is always very clean, and their attention to detail is unmatched. It’s no surprise they’ve won Best of Hays multiple times! I highly recommend calling or texting for an appointment since they stay busy. Support small. locally owned businesses and give them a try—you won’t be disappointed!

Melissa “Missy” I normally go out of town to get my nails done, However I gave this place a try one day and now its my new nail salon! I pay less here then I did at my old salon. Yet I get more done and love the work. Its nice and clean. The only problem here is that they get super busy. So I highly recommend making an appointment. If your in San Marcos and want your nails done give them a try!

Alysha Romero I had a great experience here. This is my second time coming and both times have been awesome. My nails come out exactly how I want them , and I never have any issues! I’ll definitely be coming back here. :)

Cindy Kerner I was the only customer so she had time to do a good job but not what i got for 25.00 my pedi was rushed. she was rough. She asked me flie or clippers..i said file,she clipped my toe with clippers. Didnt get a professional job, my french pedi looked like a 2yr old did it..very dissatisfied and im so dumb to give her another try..this is my 4th and last visit to this lady. No more.

Symone Holmes Terrible !!!!!!! Do NOT GO HERE. REPEAT DO NOT GO HERE. She is unsanitary and very very rude. The lady who did my pedicure was very rude and rough plus my feet looked like my 5 year old sister painted my toe nails. I will never return . Dont waste your time or money going to this terrible establismnet.

Sophia it was a great service but my DIP manicure lasted less than ONE WEEK ! its a very thin coating too and they added a gel top coat which changed the color. was excited but so disappointed now :((

Amaya Used to go here a lot and didn’t realize how over priced everything was until I went to a new place and spent half of what I usually spend here. They said they have a rewards program but I’ve spent hundreds of dollars here and have never received any rewards. My mom came to get her nails done here and spent $120 for mani and pedi to come out with her nails looking worse then when we came to get them done. As soon as leaving we did return to get them fixed but the staff was not pleasant nor apologized. I won’t be going here anymore.

Laila Jackson First off, I got a pedicure here and it was great. Don’t let the first sentence get you, my nails? HORRENDOUS. I was very clear on what I wanted, a French tip with an almond shape. He decided to go with dip powder (bad choice when needing fine lines.) and I stated almond 3 times and he still decided to go with square. I got 5 dollars off for shape yet the nails looked horrible. After two days my nails look disgusting and I cannot wait to get them done somewhere else. It’s embarrassing to even show others my nails I should be happy with what I recieved and I was very much unhappy with the service. 10/10 do NOT recommend.

Jasmine Ybarra I had gotten a pedicure A week prior to getting my nails done for my daughter 11 sister 11 and me and my son 8 , the owner still charged us full price so 70 each and gave me 10$ off for my son. We got gel nail polish which started coming off 9 days after. The total was 322 and I left a 30 dollar tip Fast forward I went back and requested sharp short stiletto nails. The older man did them awful. Only put 2 layers of powder and when asked for them to be sharper he didnt know how and started to get snappy and just filed my actual nail and made me bleed they arent even at all and look more almond. I had a date in 2 hrs so I didnt bother complaining but 3 days later my gel is soft and coming off. Awful.

Maddison Dittrich First I got cut when they were taking off my old tips. Then proceeded to put my cut finger in acetone and then used nail glue to glue my cut together. All I asked for was a dip French manicure, Kevin then proceeded to just put white tips on my nails and put who knows what on top of them. Didn’t ask what shape I wanted and his station had ants crawling all over it. I will not be going back. But the lady who did my friends nails turned out great so if you do go get anyone but Kevin.

Ashley Gandrud I have been going to see Peter and Mi for the past few months for pedi/nails with dip and they have been wonderful. Very welcoming and friendly. I am really tough with my nails and haven’t had one break yet. Peter is very thorough and does a great job. Highly recommend. Make an appointment as they prioritize appointments over walk ins!

Jenna Carr Absolute TRASH!!! Horrible people, horrible nails, ROBBED my daughter of $70 for this and refused to refund it. DO NOT GO HERE!!

Mary Rupert DO NOT RECOMMEND! Guy drilled on my nails until they were like horseshoes. He ruined my nice long natural nails and argued w me when I showed him what he had done. He burned my nail beds many times. He obviously did not know what he was doing.

Connie Gandrud Peter is a fabulous nail tech. My dipped nails have never looked so good or received so many compliments. Mi gives a fabulous pedicure and massage . She is so kind and friendly.

Catherine Lazzaro I was faithfully coming here with a girl friend for over a year. We were always treated well, but I would go more consistently on my own. I stopped going when I saw the service decline, and the lady cut my foot once during a pedicure. I also contracted toe nail fungus from this place. I only trusted one of the sisters to do my eyebrows. Everyone else would do them unevenly. I wish I could write a more positive review but find somewhere else more sanitary.

Tristen McGuire Rude staff! I get my nails done in New Braunfels but I had somewhere to go in a hurry and needed to fix ONE nail, I asked if they could use any color similar (paint, dip, acrylic) anything just to make my nails look better for ONE night. Man at the front kept telling me they don’t do that color? I asked if I could just find a polish that kinda matched and he wouldn’t even let me past the front to look? My cousin came here once and told me how rude these people are and she just proved my point. I told them I would pay, whatever I needed to do and he still refused. No wonder this place has no stars

Nicole Leal Went to get my acrylics "soaked" off. And this is what I was left with. You can clearly see the WHITE POWDER LEFT ON MY NAILS He attempted to take off my acrylics with his own fingers which hurt. He kept trying to scrape it off ive never had my acrylics taken off and left like this !! To top it off I was looking around and there was old nails laying around AND THE DRILL PIECE HE WAS USING HE PUT IT IN MY BOWL WHERE MY NAILS WERE SOAKING. GROSS. IM SURE HE USED THAT ON SOMEONE ELSE AFTER ME. I was also charged $20 for a soak off.

Julissa Cardenas Please go somewhere else. They (the 3 main people) have been in the nail “spa” business for so long and still do terrible work. After almost 9 years of not going to them on 1/10 i went there to get a simple set done. I got a pedicure and it was okay, i had a nice conversation with the man doing my pedicure. He asked me about my new years I asked about his. A pleasant convo. I sit down to get my dip set and I’m seen a few red flags. The dip was just acrylic and it was moist to the point to were it was just oozing everywhere. He then proceeded to file them down and some parts of the nail were so wet the whole acrylic goo was coming off. My nails were all different shapes and when I mentioned them to him he said it was his bad eyesight. He filed my left hand then the right I’m starting to get nervous bc he’s nicked a few of my nail beds. Then I felt it a sharp pain I tried to pull my hand away and THIS MAN WILL NOT LET ME GO HE PULLS ME TOWARDS HIM TO GET ME TO SIT DOWN WHILE SAYING “I only cut you once” He was holding my pinky to stop the bleeding. It didn’t bleed but the cut was deep. I can’t even get my nails done now bc it needs to heal. Did I mentioned I was the only one there. I was so shocked I sat back down and he smiled and asked if I still wanted the design. I came to my senses and told him no that was leaving. Still payed them $100 for the pedicure and I guess a tip. (They wanted to charge 180 for labor) for them being there for over 10 years you would thing casual customer abuse wouldn’t be an issue. update: I got time today Its been almost year since I went to this establishment, the owner just got back this review and Im not going to be silenced. The nail set was done by one of the men that works there. Of course you know what salon it is its the only nails shop located in 1050 McKinley Pl Dr. My fiancé had to go talk to the staff afterwards because I was so shaken up. I went through something so ugly just for you to sit there and type have a nice day. This is not a fake review. I lived it. To the public go anywhere else but the Jb nails & spa in 1050 McKinley Dr next to PetSmart.

Rachele Love this nail place!!! Always have my nails done right and they look amazing with the design!! Rose is amazing and always makes sure my nails look right and the design is on point!! If you want your nails done right you must go here!!

Angie Deshay I mentioned my dissatisfaction at checkout with the gentleman upfront. Kimmy rushed my nails and my toe paint. Only thing he could offer was to ask for a different tech when I come next time. Still paid full price for services. I’ve been coming here since 2014 and won’t be back. Customer service goes a long way. This place definitely picks and chooses who to provide better service to.

AmandaMiche Pros: Everyone there was super nice, and I love my manicure, it turned out great! Cons: I got a pedicure and it wasnt until I got home until I realized how uneven it was, parts of the nails had no polish and parts of the cuticles had polish. Also, the total was almost $100 for the mani-pedi, which seems overpriced.

kayley cortez Rose was wonderful! She fit me into the schedule during the freeze and made sure to fully explain the prices and the process. She mentioned that she tries to keep prices as low as possible for the college students (which is so sweet!). Rose made sure I was happy with everything and let me know that if anything happened to my nails, to come back and she would fix it for free. I will be coming back and recommending this place!
