5 /5 Barbara C: My first time to visit this park. I found it to be quite a lovely setting in spite of the overcast skies. There are a few picnic tables, one place with a small barbecue pit. No grate, so youd have to bring your own, but it would be fine for cooking hot dogs or roasting marshmallows on your own roasting sticks if you bring those and some charcoal along. Currently there is a burn ban in effect, so a bbq isnt an option at this time. However, there is a nice bench that looks out over the water, for peaceful relaxation and listening to all the different bird sounds amongst the plentiful trees. I noticed a trail headed away from the bench, but saved exploring that for another day. Room for parking, if there arent too many already here. I loved the serenity of the place.

5 /5 Austin Reeves: Beautiful area, the wifey and I went out of curiosity and is definitely a special place for us now. You gotta explore a little bit to find the canyon but I guess that is why they call it hidden. Take caution when driving back there, tons of deer in the area.

4 /5 Lisa Wiggin: This is such a cute little park and it definitely is a hidden one. They have grills, picnic tables and benches. It overlooks the water. I imagine seeing how quiet this place is and virtually unknown, it might make a great spot to go camping for an overnight tent stay.

Julie Sierra: They have everything you need for a family day in the park. A playground, basketball courts, volleyball net, soccer fields, a walking trail and best part is the pickelball courts. They have public restrooms. Perfect for a picnic date as well. We love it here and great location !

Bruce Myles: Its a really beautiful park in the middle of hustle and bustle of the city. It was very unexpected to see the huge fountain and wildlife there. Theres a really healthy population of turtles in the pond. My wife and I just sat and enjoyed the view. We have been here since October of 24 and that was the most comfortable Ive felt since I have been here!

Patrick Lynch: We came from NC to Killeen to visit friends and came to Great Escape and had a wonderful time. The room was awesome and well put together and our host Ian was very fun and enthusiastic. Going again tonight in Temple to do another room.

The house was completely decked out in twinkling lights and colorful decorations, creating a magical atmosphere that was perfect for the holiday season. The attention to detail was impressive, with every inch of the property covered in lights and decorations. The synchronized music and light show was a true spectacle, and I found myself mesmerized by the beauty of it all. The entire experience was truly unforgettable, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to get into the holiday spirit. I give this amazing Christmas light show at a house a full five stars!.

Lions Club Park - Killeen

Angie Woodward: This is such a beautiful area that has a 1 mile course and includes an area for outdoor exercise, which can be managed via an app. It is part of Killeen Parks and Recreational Department. They keep it very well maintained and stocked with doggie supplies. It is well lit for those of us who walk at 6AM There are basketball courts, playground, swimming, covered picnic areas, benches at every other post, and softball fields with outdoor potty. Bring your families and enjoy the outdoors any given weekend. My Bailey has a great time here.

Temple Railroad & Heritage Museum - Temple

James Marshall: Very nice museum with plenty of railroad artifacts inside. You can go on, in, and through some actual trains, caboose, and passenger cars. My family enjoyed it. Its next to a busy train yard to watch them slowly go by.

Czech Heritage Museum and Genealogy Center - Temple

Stacy Luebbe: This museum is beautiful with beautiful items. I truly enjoyed the items. The gentleman who was going to give us a tour was very nice and passionate about this museum which is a big plus....however very talkative.. just to get through the front part of the museum which should have taken 10 to 15 mins at most took almost 30 minutes. I kind of was bored after all these dates and facts. 2 people entered the museum after we started so we had to wait for him to catch them up and go through everything he just told us. Well then we were gonna go to the next part and watch a 9 minute video but the tour guide and the 2 other people got to talking and wouldnt stop. My mom and I walked around the entire museum. 30 to 45 minutes later he came and found us at the end of the museum and ushered us back to watch the video. We left after that. Kind of a waste to go back through the museum again. My guess is the complete tour takes 2 to 3 hrs so make sure you make enough time to visit

Whistle Stop Park - Temple

Raven Aguilar: We love this park!! Its a great place for kiddos to run out all their energy and have fun while doing it. What makes it a pretty cool park is getting to see all the trains ride by and the conductors waving to the children. Its all enclosed by a fence and theres only one way in and one way out. Theres also a separate area for smaller children to play and its very accommodating for parents who have littles that vary in age.

Historic Ralph & Sunny Wilson House - Temple

Liz Rediske: What an amazing place. A true blast from the past and a great testimony to Mr. Wilson. We got a lot of good info from Fernando who let us in and we spent about 30 minutes enjoying this house. Not open 24 hours - call or email a week in advance for entry. Free to enter.
