5 /5 D Know: They have great holiday events that the family loves. And they do NOT price gouge like other places. All the prices there are very fair and reasonable, kudos to the management and owner for this. Truly shows they care about everyone enjoying the event, drinks, snacks and toys sold there. And when it’s not a holiday, they have animals walking around you can visit and take pic with. A great place to visit.

5 /5 Kim Hughes: Lights on the Farm held at Heritage Farmstead Plano was absolutely the best experience for the price. We attended on Frozen theme night so on top of all the amazing light displays and photo opportunities there were all the Frozen Disney characters doing meet and greets, sing alongs and taking photos with the kiddos. Santa was on hand for a personal one on one and pictures were offered. In the middle of the farm you can gather around fire pits and make snores with your group, so much fun!! This is a walk through lighted Christmas experience you don’t want to kiss next year!!

5 /5 Christine Kehr: Located in Plano, the Heritage Farmstead is a treasure in the heart of the Texas Blackland Prairie. The museum is open Thursday through Saturday 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. To understand all that the Farmstead has to offer, I suggest visiting the website. I have visited the Farmstead many times over the years but not to visit the museum. I have visited to attend events. According to the website, the 4.5 acre site is the perfect setting for parties, civic events, and corporate events. I highly recommend renting the Pole Barn. Check out the tumbleweed chandelier hanging from the rafters. I have visited during the holidays for Lights on the Farm and highly recommend it. The lights get better every year. Santa is usually there, along with hot cocoa and s’mores. Adults and children will equally enjoy a visit to the Farmstead, whether for an event or to visit the museum. There are lots of farm animals, wagon rides, and a lovely gift shop. In November 2024, the Heritage Farmstead Museum received the Community Partner of the Year award from the Plano Chamber of Commerce in recognition of 50 years of service and preserving the history of Plano. Highly recommend a visit!

5 /5 Brian Gan: I had heard about Heritage Farmstead Museum but never had a chance to visit until this year. They have this holiday lights event at night and we decided to come with the immediate family. We had a party of 12 and we really enjoyed our time there. The parking was easy, the Museum had staff outside directing traffic. Inside, there were plenty of fun photo sets for both kids and grownups. They were selling mini donuts, hot chocolate and even smore sets that you could cook over these small sections with little fire pits. Everyone had a blast. We will need to come back to see what the place looks like in the morning one of these days.
