1 /5 Ravens Moon: I would give zero stars if possible. Do not use the GI department at Hendricks in Brownwood!! Elizabeth is a nurse practitioner but is in charge of the entire GI department. She is nice, soft spoken and will promise you the moon in terms of getting appointments set up, paperwork done, questions answered etc. that is a lie. Nobody in that department will do anything. I had to call the hospital and set up the appointment for my colonoscopy and endoscopy myself. Nobody told me where to go, what to expect, who would perform the procedure, no info on lab work or possible EKG. Had to drive to the hospital again to ask the front desk where to even go as my procedure day was a few days away. I called and left messages multiple times to the department with nobody calling me back. Drove up to the doctors office and finally got one sheet of paperwork telling me not to eat or drink anything the day before. Had to dig the information out of the nurse on who was the doctor that would perform the procedure. Was given a fake phone number to that doctor. Googled him and he was from India and worked in Austin. His reviews were terrible! Doctor Reddy GI. Two star out of five with multiple people saying he almost killed their loved ones, was unprofessional and his office was so dirty it was “disgusting”. Cancelled my appointment and will go out of town!

1 /5 Jillian Goss: I was very pleased to be referred to a GI doctor in my new small town. I had a hemorrhage and saw Dr Horton in the 2 days in the hospital. I saw Elizabeth, his PA at the office a few weeks later. She was kind and attentive and her bedside manner was reassuring. She was very adamant to tell me, more than once, that my case was complicated and that she would be putting my case on her visual board she described in detail. I would hear from her very , very soon with an action plan to help me. I left hopeful and those hopes were dashed when six weeks later during an ongoing bleeding incident, when I’d still not heard from the office, where I was chastised by her nurse with a comment so out of line...I left and have found a much better fit. The staff is detached. Elizabeth Navarro, PA does not follow up. The basics is all you will find there. They don’t answer the phone and return a portal message after the phones are shut off. I’ve never written a review like this. But I am fighting medical issues. I won’t fight the doctor who’s treating me. Very very disappointing.

1 /5 Steven Beslanowitch: Ive seen Elizabeth 3 times at this point with no resolution. The third time she saw me she didnt even remember who I was . After her telling me she would advocate for my health, I have left multiple voicemails and been ignored for months at this point .Dont waste your money or time !

1 /5 William Crane: Set up for a procedure; asked at the time “are there instructions, I may need at anything?” The response was the office will send it out. Two months later and after many calls inquiring as to if I needed to do anything, they reach out on prep day and say we sent instructions see you tomorrow. I of course didnt go through with the procedure. If this is how they care for people, with paperwork. Absolutely I would not let them touch me. If you have a job, just do your job. It’s really not hard. No stars is a better option for this facility.

5 /5 Joe Thacker: Great place if you are having problems with digestive system. Becca is a receptionist, always informed and friendly. Jessica the nurse is knowledgeable, and efficient. She puts you at ease with her kindness. Elizabeth is so good with diagnosis, solutions, options, she been an expert in the Feild. We have been seeing her for over a year!
