5 /5 Savanah Thompson: I am 30 weeks pregnant and It was my first time getting waxed. I did some research prior to my appointment and if you’re looking for something more natural the sugar wax is recommended vs. the resin wax which has a lot of harsh chemicals in it. It’s also better for pain management and sensitive skin. Plus the results tend to last longer with the sugar wax. Considering I hadn’t shaved in a month and a half, my growth down there was a decent length. You do tend to be more sensitive down there while pregnant so, as long as you’re strong willed or have a high pain tolerance then getting waxed is for you. I do have a very high pain tolerance and I will say the pain for me was excruciating, but after it was done I felt so clean down there. Jasmine was my aesthetician. She was absolutely amazing. I Loved her vibe/Aura! She played music and was patient, empathetic, informative, funny, she talked to me through the whole process and gave me insight on the products she used and recommended. She did inform me that the first time is always the worst and considering that I’m pregnant it will be even worse but to give the waxing experience 2-3 go’s before just quitting. So if you’re getting a wax or have only gotten your first one, I recommend trying it again. I do plan on coming back here and rating my second and third experiences. But all in all, Jasmine was astonishing and I would 100% recommend her! I plan on going back soon!
