Hair By Skyler - Midland Emilee Weaver: I have been getting my hair done with Skyler for about 3 years now. With every single appointment, I come out feeling more confident and even happier with my hair. Every appointment I have with Skyler she has always been so welcoming and personable and it truly makes my visit every time perfect. She always asks for me to show her my inspiration for my hair and she makes sure to double check with exactly what I want so I can get the results I’ve been hoping for. She always puts the health of my hair first and advises me all along the way so that I can still achieve what I want while still getting results that make me fall back in love with my hair. She has seen me with balayage, highlights, and then back to my natural black hair and each time I go she absolutely nails what I want ! Skyler is as sweet and personable as she is talented and ambitious. I have and will continue seeing Skyler because she is so respectful, skillful, and amiable. Each appointment with Skyler, I know from the second I step foot in the salon to the end I will be taken care of and leave with my hair looking healthier and shinier! Vibe Salon & Blowdry Bar - Midland Paulina Ramirez: I never write reviews, but this time I need to say how disappointed I am. I went in for an all-over color and a haircut a few days ago. I should’ve seen the red flags from the beginning; we really never had a consultation to begin with. First of all, she made me feel dumb since I asked for an all-over color that was dark brown, but I didn’t want it to be too dark and look black. I guess the way I said it didn’t really make sense, but it made sense to me. The way she looked at me and the way she was talking to me made me feel stupid. Im not a hair stylist, so of course I don’t know how to really explain the level of hair color. She did end up doing a hair gloss. I’m guessing thats what I have since she never told me what she did. All she said was that it was more healthy than getting an all-over color. The color is pretty close to what I wanted. I have no problem with it. Now let’s talk about the actual haircut. When I tell you that I literally cried when I saw my hair the day after I did. My hair came out so uneven, and the layers had different layers within the layers. At first, I thought I was crazy and was overexaggerating, but when it was dry and not style, I knew I wasn’t crazy. Of course, when you have your hair done, you cant really see how it really looks. That’s why I never said anything. I did text her to let her know that I wasn’t happy with the haircut. The day after I even sent her pictures. She did tell me to come in for her to fix it, and the fact that she didn’t think she did anything wrong shows the level of professionalism on her part. It sounded like it was my fault, and that’s what I wanted, and that she never had unhappy clients. but I denied it. How am I going to go with someone who ruined my hair? I went to another hairstylist, and she confirmed how terrible the haircut was. She even showed me everything The other hairstylist did, and my jaw dropped to the floor at how uneven and choppy the haircut was. Even the bangs were different lengths, they were so uneven and not blended, the face framing layers did not match each other on either side, with one side being shorter than the other. She had to cut even more hair to be able to fix it.(my hair was so botched that we had to go even shorter) Hair grows, but I paid for a service, only to end up hating it and crying over how short it is) Now I have to live in high buns; I can’t even do a ponytail because of how short my hair is, and I dont know if I can even do hair extensions. I ended up with the trauma of never going back to a hair salon again. Please do your research before you go with just anyone. Her work looked amazing in pictures. And her having 11 years of experience made me feel confident enough to go with her, but lesson learned. I should’ve known better. I should’ve asked more questions and been more direct about what I really wanted. $200+ down the drain on a haircut that’s super short and that I hate. I do blame myself since I was too nice or way too naïve to know better after seeing all the red flags. Hair is a persons identity. Thank you for taking that away TONI BROWN!!!
Palacio Salon & Barber - Midland Victoria: The first time Dali turned me blonde I was hooked! I’ve seen many stylist and truly mo one does a better job. Check out the pictures on Facebook! I mean honestly I get complimented on my hair often. I’ve learned from experience how hard it is to find a hair stylist that truly can make your hair color fit you. Dali is 10/10. I cannot say enough good things.

Patinized Hair - Midland Edward Mendez: I have been following my stylist, Patti, around to various salons. Shes that good! Ray-Clark Salon is a nice place. The decor is modern and trendy.
Upon entering, the stylist that was working on a client stopped to ask how she could help me, FYI the receptionist was out to lunch. I told her I was there to see Patti and she invited me to have a seat and even offered a me drink of water while I waited. So far, so good.
The shopping center the salon is located in has quite a few popular spots, i.e. Starbucks, Grub Burger Bar, Heroes Gym, etc. so I had a difficult time finding a parking spot in the very busy and crowded parking spot. Get there early enough to look for a parking spot or allow ample time to walk from your parking spot to the salon.

I was scheduled for a certain time. I get there on time. I was made to wait while she was still working on someone else. Then, made to wait while she said she would get something to eat????? Why was I scheduled at that time then??? I should have been scheduled an hour later so that I could be helped properly. Then also waiting there were two other women and felt like we were at a funeral home. No music and just left there.
They do not respect your time, and I do not recommend this place. One hour of my life wasted and that I will never get back.
I will never be back. Thank goodness there is always other people that are kind and respect peoples time.

The Beauty Bar - midland - Midland Rilee Portwood: my mother and I went to another studio that almost ruined our hair. I was blessed to find Beauty Bar, that completely transformed our hair in the best way.
The women here are so professional, beautiful, and talented. They made me feel so comfortable through the entire process. The best salon I’ve ever been to.
Head Hunters Salon - Midland LO AD: Went in for a cut to an empty shop, saw yesterdays cut hair sitting all over dirty equipment, & decided I wanted to go elsewhere. Poor fella started acting like a child, just like his cult leader bobblehead, over the news that I wanted to go elsewhere. I was very polite, you are not entitled to my business. Sorry I hurt your feelings, but yall really need to keep up some appearances if you want new customers.
