Every turn offers something incredible to see, and the exhibits are beautifully done. From the lush rainforest at the entrance to the colorful marine life exhibits, every part of the experience is thoughtfully designed and breathtaking. The variety of animals you get to see — from sloths and birds to sharks and rays — is truly impressive. Everything is well-maintained, and the staff is knowledgeable and friendly. It’s a great place to learn, explore, and just be amazed by the beauty of nature. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in Dallas! It’s perfect for all ages, whether you’re bringing kids, going on a date, or just exploring on your own. Highly recommend spending a few hours here — you won’t want to leave!
Reunion Tower - Dallas michael lee: Had a great time with my girlfriend here. Bingo was pretty fun and the view was great! Only giving 4 starts because I could not redeem the free desert card won in bingo at the Crown Block. If you win bingo get anything other than a free desert card unless you’re dressed fancy. Would highly recommend going around sunset for golden hour photos.
The Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza - Dallas Christine Morgan: Well done exhibit, took about 90 minutes to see everything (except watch videos). Very heavy on reading. Young children would be bored. Fairly crowded but still able to move easily though exhibit. Bought our tickets online about 30 minutes in advance, no wait to enter. Improvements I might suggest that would increase my rating might be providing more context to videos (they were kind of off set from rest of exhibit) and maybe adding additional clips of audio or interviews from bystanders if available. Overall, would definitely recommend.
Klyde Warren Park - Dallas Yuliia Pliekhova: Awesome Park is a unique and beautiful spot built right over the highway! It’s a cozy green space - clean, family-friendly, and perfect for a walk, a picnic, a date, or just relaxing. Great for kids too!
Dallas Zoo - Dallas heather peak: Me and my daughter had a wonderful time. Staff was friendly and the zoo was clean. Very big spend 5 hours there. Price was reasonable and my daughters birthday was a hit!
Pioneer Plaza - Dallas ND4LIFE: Pioneer Plaza is an absolute must-see when visiting downtown Dallas! Stepping into this park feels like taking a vibrant leap back in time. The breathtaking bronze sculptures of the cattle drive are truly magnificent the sheer scale and detail of the longhorns and cowboys in motion are incredibly impressive. You can almost hear the lowing of the cattle and the shouts of the drovers!
Its more than just a static monument; its a dynamic piece of art that tells a powerful story about Texas history. Walking amongst the statues gives you a real sense of the grit and grandeur of the cattle drive era. The setting itself is also lovely, providing a great spot to take photos and soak in the atmosphere of downtown Dallas.
Whether youre a history buff, an art enthusiast, or simply looking for a memorable experience, Pioneer Plaza and the Dallas Cattle Drive are well worth your time. Its a fantastic and free way to connect with the spirit of Texas!
Perot Museum of Nature and Science - Dallas R Morretti: I was so impressed with the recent updates to the kids museum—it looks fantastic! The entire museum is fun and interactive, with something for everyone to enjoy.
The new children’s area is much bigger with plenty of hands-on exhibits. My 3 year-old especially loved the earthquake simulation and “My Body” exhibit. The outdoor bubble stations are a fun idea, though they could use more frequent refills. The hill and climbing areas are creative, but could benefit from a few safety tweaks and better visibility for parents.
Overall, we had a great time! If it’s a busy weekend, we recommend exploring the other exhibits too—they’re just as interactive and engaging. Don’t forget extra clothes for the splash areas and outdoor fun!
Dallas Museum of Art - Dallas Annie Oak: Awesome place, free admission- we paid 2 dollars for street parking (museum parking is 20 bucks). 4 stories lots to see! They do have elevators but honestly I liked going in the stairs. If you have kids please do not let them get close too the paintings because security will yell at you.
City Park - dallas - Dallas Nadya Masterova: Lovely place to visit and experience “good old days”. Unfortunately due to lack of financing this place is slowly falling apart… it looks lowkey abandoned. Most of the buildings is pretty bad shape and the once that are open half empty inside. Very sad to see such a gem in that sad state.
