Jeffery Beeman: I enjoy the wisdom of Pastor Ira Antoine. A true man of God suffering great family tragedy. A man I admire, respect, and is truly wise in Godliness. Please pray for him during this time of trial by fire. I love the spiritual maturity and kindness of Deacon Collins and McMillan. The vocal music ministry of Mrs. Edwards is amazing. The fine worshipers here made everyone feel welcome. Sadly, Pastor Ira left the church temporarily. An interim pastor is heading the church as of July 2022. The new interim pastor is not worthy of this fine congregation in my opinion. Under his teachings, I had to listen to partisan commentary including attacks on our Supreme Court Justice family. I was continually reminded that this was an African-American Baptist church. No subtle reminder. Souls have no color and God is no respecter of persons. Gods salvation and love applies to all races, nationalities, and cultures....the entire human race. The church publications (sign, website, etc.) say "welcome". We all sure did feel welcome under Pastor Ira. A true man of God. I love the people and pastor Ira. However, until pastor Ira returns, I cannot recommend the interim pastor.
