5 /5 Dr. JoAnna Taylor: Great Day!! I am Dr. Taylor, the mother of Genesis’s sister (Shantell Oyedokun’s daughter), and I have to inform Good Hope Baptist Church as well as Love Community Baptist Church (in Forney, Texas) on a subject matter of leadership. Many of you all know Dr. Oyedokun (Dr. O) and Shantell are from Good Hope Baptist Church in Round Rock, Tx. Dr. O had lead David (Shantell’s then husband) and Shantell for years before he became the husband to Shantell.
Dr. O has repeatedly stated and currently states his family is struggling and continues to be in the need of help with their household. However, after my household has repeatedly helped the family as much as possible since the common ground between us are the two biological sisters (half-sisters), these two individuals did not wish to allow two siblings to develop a relationship. These are the same two individuals who met Genesis’s biological sister/my daughter when she was a few months old while at Good Hope Baptist Church . My daughter is now 6 years of age.
The picture Dr. O and Shantell presents is sharing love throughout the community, yet they failed to empower a relationship between two biological sisters. My household has recently declined to help their household once more from fixing Dr. O biological daughter’s brakes and rotors ($900) while the sisters are not able to even establish a bond.
If joining Love Community Baptist Church, please keep this in mind:
1. Men keep your wives close while around Dr. O.
2. Please don’t give your last to them or Love Community Baptist Church while they place sadness on your caring heart and they live well on your money/donation.
3. Do your research on the reason regarding what took place prior to a pastor relocating then starting his own church. It’s important to know the background of your leader.
GOD bless you all and I pray love is spread throughout not only the community, but around the world. This world could be in a better place if we spread truth and are transparent about our lives. Don’t allow others (not just the Oyedokun’s) to use you for your resources.
I would NOT recommend Love Community Baptist Church.
However, I WOULD recommend Good Hope Baptist Church under the new leadership of Dr. K.A. Shawn Dooley, Pastor (Dr. Dooley). I have watched many of his sermons and his interactions within the church. This is what AMAZING leadership looks like and should be acknowledged in every way. His family (wife and children) are always valued as well as Good Hope Baptist Church. I would definitely recommend all who are visiting, looking for a church home, or already apart of the Good Hope Baptist Church Family to continue to support this church. Excellent work, Dr. Dooley!!
