5 /5 Clarissa Fielder: We have gone out there quite a few times to fish, crab, and catch shrimp even. We have caught a few catfish and gar out there. Last time almost caught a big gar. Its fun to bring the kids there are areas of shade on docks further out. The pier when first entering can turn it on at night just be responsible and turn it off when leaving if youre the only one fishing on the pier. There are alligators out there just have to watch your kids and dogs. They are normally swimming around and dont bother you, but its still a best interest to be vigilant. We had one huge one come at our throw net. The weather thundering it took off. My son and I bring a cooler out with us have a small picnic with sandwiches, chips, and a drink. We make sure to throw all our trash in the trash can. I taught my son its not cool to litter and take care of the planet he has to walk around in.
