Ayesha R: We absolutely LOVED our first worship at Sweet Home Baptist Church! We literally felt right at home with such wonderful energy, God’s word and inspiring pastors and preaches. Church members took it upon themselves to approach us after mass to introduce themselves, show us around and just get to know us. They have an area for kids to be together during worship and members kindly let us know that for next time. What was our first time at this church will certainly not be the last! We are so excited to come back

Natalie Grun: My family and I have been attending Victory City for the past three years, and from the very beginning, it felt like home. We’ve been to many churches over the years, but this one truly stood out. The pastors and staff were so welcoming, warm, and inviting—it made all the difference. If you’re looking for a Bible based church, a place to grow in your faith and be part of a genuine, loving community, this is the church!

Citizenesse: Okay, so far I have visited twice; 11/5 and 11/12. This is the first church that Ive actually attended service in person since I moved here to this area.area (aside from going to St Vincents which has convenient donation bins). I had planned to go someplace different so I was a little overdressed for the service the first time and wore blue jeans the next time. I went to the 11:00 a.m. service on each visit. High marks for being very welcoming. Thank you Latrice (spelling is best hypothesis) for latching on to me. Theyve got that down (positively)cold. The music was very loud with a really heavy emphasis on the bass which hurt my ears. The second visit I had earplugs but forgot to put them in my bag. They are in transition between building their new location and overflowing their current location. Overall, I am still prayerfully considering. I havent gotten a yay or nay. I came back this last Sunday because the first Sunday I was there I prayed for another person that stepped out in the aisle as I did for prayer. I wasnt sure if anyone had prayed for him and I told him that Im a firm believer that prayer changes things and that we were definitely 2 in agreement so theres that. After asking his permission, he agreed and after a side hug we went back to standing at our seats. I am trying to get a better bead on what exactly they believe. I know they stated and I can appreciate the fact that theyre trying to do church differently which is very much appreciated. Doing church for church sake is not the way to go and having grown up in a Pentecostal faith (this was very good and not so good) doing things differently in truth and in spirit is of great interest to me. My recommendation, as with any church, to anyone reading this would be to visit with prayerful consideration and listening observation, absolutely check the scriptures, and make the decision based upon where you think the Lord is leading you.
