I am visiting family in Brownsville, and while I was at a car wash, I went to lift one of my windshield wipers to dry off the windshield and the wiper blade came off. It looked to me like it was broken and I would need a new set of blades. I found Fern Automotive through a Google search and Juan Pablo told me they would be able to work on it that very day. I still had the blade that came off and he discovered that it wasnt broken and that he could simply put it back on the wiper arm. It works like a champ! When I asked him how much I owed him, he was very kind and said I didnt owe him anything. He could have easily sold me a new set of wiper blades and charged me for the labor and I wouldnt have been any the wiser (which I think a lot of places would have done), but he didnt. I come to Brownsville quite often and this will now be my go-to place for automotive services. I highly recommend them!

1 /5 Jared Parkin: Got an oil change here 3 months ago and new brakes. Brakes still squeak, now three months later and 2k miles my car has low oil. I take it into another place they say no leaks just seems I have not had an oil change in over a year. So zero confidence would not recommend.

1 /5 BUCKHOOK: I called to get a quote on the labor. Was quoted 70 dollars, when I get there the owner tells me 90 dollars. I ask him why I was quoted the wrong price. He said it must have been his kid… very disorganized shop. I would not recommend this to anyone. I actually own a lube shop and would send all my customers to him. No longer will do that!

Their service has been exceptional, and I feel compelled to share my positive experiences. The first time I visited, I had an issue with the bottom cover of my car grinding when crossing speed bumps. The team at Fern Automotive quickly patched it up, and their workmanship has held up perfectly to this day. The quick and effective solution saved me a lot of trouble, and I was very impressed. Today, I came by unannounced with an external door handle for my drivers side door. I had ordered the part from eBay and attempted to install it myself, but ended up losing the socket inside the door. Despite the short notice and the impending tropical storm, the mechanics Lupe and J.P. were able to take care of me promptly. Their professionalism and willingness to help in a pinch were truly commendable. Fern Automotive has proven to be a reliable and efficient service center, consistently providing excellent customer care. I highly recommend them for any automotive needs.
